On the 20th anniversary of our first live performance, Destroy Babylon return with two new songs, available now for Bandcamp Friday.
Head-turning tempo-changes on "World's Straightest Line" recall the frenetic energy of our early releases, while "Course Corrections" brooding verses about the ills of authoritarianism hit as hard as ever (despite being recorded pre-pandemic).
Both tracks will remain exclusive to Bandcamp until the full streaming release on June 4th, 2021.

After nearly a year of pandemic life, our tune "Alone for a Long Time" hits a little harder. Featuring Jay Champany (of 10 Ft. Ganja Plant) on vocals and at the controls, the track originally appeared on The Shadow Tape, a cassette-only release and buried online. We always wanted to release Jay's two extended discomixes on a 12" vinyl 45... until then, they are now available on Flying Vipers Bandcamp and all streaming platforms.

“First and foremost, if you are a fan of 1970’s dub music, you’ll be thrilled because not only does this band sound like a box of their records washed ashore at your local record shop or brought in by a Jamaican granny who brought in her record collection for sale, but second of all because it’s so damn authentic you’ll not believe this was made in 2020. “
Very humbling words from the man DJ Prestige on his fantastic blog, Flea Market Funk. Massive thanks, Jamison!
