Duality honestly didn’t hold much of a care as he simply shrugged his shoulder. “It’d be a change, so it might be interesting. If I serve you, I will have to use one side of my power occasionally to keep it from erupting.” He was honest but his eyes simply kept a fix on her..
“At the least, I can hopefully get some entertainment. If you do not have anything in mind right now, I shall take my leave. I shall remain in the city until you decide. Not like anyone can keep me contained for long.” He would turn his attention to the distance before starting to gather some distance. It was neither fear nor hatred toward the other, just simply waiting around was boring and her words, albeit malevolent and somewhat condescending did little if anything to provide him with some amusement.

Duality simply remained unaware to her status, or alliance, He would simply watch as the police continued their pointless trial, but the cessation of the noise drew his attention in the direction of the girl. His smile now gone and his eyes lacked any sign of emotion.
He was almost about to begin dismissing his shield now that the police were retreating, but seeing the blast he kept it up for it to make contact, the blast colliding with the outer lining then faded from sight.
“I was fine, just enjoying myself.I can still enjoy myself, though I do owe you for allowing me to take my leave from the bank.” His monotonous voice belied his action as he once again dismissed his shield and started to walk toward her the bookbag on his back, but he swapped the side of his power. It was unclear whether or not he knew about the titans or even cared.
Though the cops were not directly attacked by either of them, they were far from safe. All it took was a simple switch as nine midnight black portals appeared underneath the cars, each of which a truck sized tentacle emerged from, grasping the cars and an occasional officer with them before dragging them all back into the portal that spawned them.
Duality right hand was held out in front of him as an evocation of this other side of his power, no emotion was seen in either his eyes or on his face. He honestly hoped for more entertainment, but he turned his attention to her. “In return for helping my escape, I shall do one thing you ask without complaints.” He was blunt if anything and maybe this request may turn to provide him with some entertainment.

so then it was impervious. magic based then and just as interesting as she hoped. but – he didn’t seem to be that impressive for what his power could have let him be. but – the idea of him owing her did sound fun. but how would she cash in on it? now that was the question.
“hmmm, one thing huh? anything I ask. no complaints. well – isn’t that a lot like laying your life on the line? trading away your everything. what if I asked you to serve me. or better yet – lay your life for mine. ensure i’m never caught. so many amazing lifelong options… be careful what you say to who, kid. never know when someone will take advantage of your generosity…”

New places means new people to entertain himself with. First things first though, Dylan needed money to live on. Holding neither desire nor intent to work along with the unverified yet assumed boredom that would accompany working, the wanderer would do what he normally did when he needed money. Rob a bank, but he did it in a strange order.
He would use his portal to go straight into a vault with a backpack to house the money, then would portal into the bank lobby. He would say that they had been robbed to give him entertainment when the cops arrived, presenting the bag of cash and simply walk out.
This bank was no different, everything went just as much as he expected and by the time the cops arrived, he used his powers to evoke the spherical force field, a small smile appearing on his face as he watches the cops expend all their ammo trying in vain to penetrate the shield that surrounded him. Inside the shell, he used his psycholocation to tell all who were in coming to the area, but did not establish a telepathic link to save him the pain of dealing with.
