Rules to Live by

Some "life rules" I’ve shared with my sons and other people in my life.

1. If it doesn't belong to you, keep your damn hands off of it.

2. If you're not sure if something you want to do is a bad idea or not, imagine the worst possible thing that could happen if you do it. If you can live with the consequences, knock yourself out.

3. Do what you are supposed to do and everything will be alright.

4. If you don't care about yourself, no one else will either.

5. The early birds gets the worm, but the early worm gets eaten. Don't be a worm.

6. It's better to have slept with one woman a thousand times, than to sleep with one thousand women once.

7. Read the damn room.

8. Be an honorable man.

9. Do hard things when you can, so when you have to, you're able.

10. Be alert. Be observant.

11. Always try to look nice when you leave the house. You never know who you'll run into.

12. Leave others better off than you found them.
