Development Update #4 - It’s A Wrap! Well almost...

Hi Guys,

We are excited to announce that Detale is really quite close to completion and we hope to release some time in April. Yes, we really are that close! After countless months of development we finally have a half-decent, working product which we could even deploy right now. For the next month or so most of our time will be spent ironing out bugs and ameliorating all the features in some way or another and will be trying to chase up journalists for posts at the app’s launch date which is always a fun experience!

We hope you are as excited as we are to hear this and hope to see you convert to Detale users at launch!

Development Update #3 - Core Functionality Progress

Hi Guys,

We are pleased to announce that we have made extremely good progress in the development of Detale. We now have much of the core functionality in place and from now on we are just tidying up, fixing some bugs and optimising the app to make it as easy to use as possible. We are currently doing some alpha version testing with a small group of users to test the functionality on a slightly larger scale. We may be holding a public beta in the future although it may take a while.

In other news we have revamped our website and have a landing page ready for publication as soon as we are ready to launch the app, at the moment it is only a new "work-in-progress" page but nevertheless it looks much better than before!

Development Update #2 - Working On The Backend

Hi Guys

We are currently working on the backend of the backend of the Detale system. All is currently going to plan as everything is working perfectly. We will have to initially gauge how many servers we need to commission and thus the performance may be sub-par for the first couple of weeks, we will of course quickly iron out any of the inherent bugs or server hiccups. Release is of course quite far off as we want to make sure the finished product is perfect and polished. We will of course let you know of any significant advancements that we make.

Development Update #1 - Making Steady Progress

Hi Guys,

For the past few weeks we have been making steady progress on Detale's development and are deep into the front-end development stages. We are working very hard to make sure we can deliver a clutter free, intuitive user experience that will be a pleasure to use for all our users. We have had few issues to date with only small boundaries cropping up due to the privacy restrictions of the Facebook SDK, we have however, found a way to overcome these boundaries by remodelling the app to fit Facebook's criteria. We hope this Facebook integration may not become our limiting factor. We will show you some work in progress screenshots in the next update. Until then we will keep you posted via Facebook & Twitter.
