Basil stepped around boxes and stacks of paper as she maneuvered her way along the identical humans’ apartment floor.

It definitely wasn’t as neat as her old human’s living area was, but...

She could get used to it. 

After all, this kitty would like to be optimistic, but her human’s not coming to take her to her old home. Cats can feel this kind of thing. (Especially ace detectives!)

Obviously, she misses him. But these new humans aren’t unfamiliar! She’s certain they used to work with her human. They’ve broken into his old office a lot!

They call eachother the same thing, ‘Jim’, (though what it means, she’ll never know) and they pick her up and give her treats,

And they let her sleep on their beds!

...Her old human did too, but there’s two humans to cuddle now!

She’s settled in quite well for only two weeks, and it’s about time she gets back to work.

Basil switches identities from cute house cat to hard hitting detective!

You see, this kitty’s an ace detective. Sherlock Holmes? Pssh. Abe-whatever-his-name-is? She doesn’t even know who they are!

Now, it’s time to solve some cases!

[For those who aren’t aware, I run an ask blog for Mayor Damien from who killed markiplier. This is his cat that I created for reasons still unknown. I guess he just deserves a cat.]

[Immediately before, during, and after the events of wkm, the Jims had taken Basil hostage had temporarily adopted the Mayor’s sweet cat after she was left behind unsupervised.]

[The ‘temporary’ adoption lasting a lot longer than they thought it would.]
