Be Strong

Joshua 1:9 New King James Version || Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Only the strong under this planet shall and will survive. The devil is called the prince/ruler of this world – John 14:30; thus he is the person ruling and he has set up systems to make the elects of God suffer, this is why when you actually enter some places, when you want to live your Christian live, it's always someway, these are all schemes from the enemy for the saints of God to suffer. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us – Romans 8:37. So this means that we already won before the battle began but to tell you the truth, this fight or war against the devil through human beings is just fought by the strong, strengthened and equipped by the word of God by Christ Jesus through the Holy Ghost/Spirit. In our opening scripture, Prophet Moses who was exiting the scene of the leadership of the Israelites on their pilgrimage from Egypt to Canaan; God charges him to be strong and of good courage just because the Lord his God is with Him. Thus, the source of the strength of Joshua or us is that the Lord God is with us. This is why we need to always be on the journey to know Him more through His Holy and Only word, the Bible, that is when we would truly be strong and fight to the pleasing of the Lord. Doing Exploits

Daniel 11:32 New King James Version || Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Doing exploits in this kingdom is on the premises of how much of God you know. There is the manifold wisdom of God – Ephesians 3:10. In our God is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge – Colossians 2:3 Now, the engineering world is just an aspect/one side of the manifold wisdom of God, same as the fashion industry, and the others. Our God is all knowing, He knows science and mathematics, He is the creator of the entire universe (Genesis 1:1), which the earth and humanity is just a fraction of.   Thus, to be able to do exploit in any field of life, you need to know God so that He will just reveal one or some side of His knowledge or wisdom to you; so then by the application of the received wisdom or knowledge as a result of knowing God, you do exploits or bring out inventions. Inventions not as in only bringing out machines but new ideas or solutions to curb or eliminate every problem from man or the earth; please it is very possible we live a problem free life on earth, this is why Christ was brought into the picture to redeem man from all his problems. God’s elect, therefore to do exploits or change the affairs of seasons, just be on the journey to know the Lord God, and I tell you of a truth, you shall do exploits just because you know the Lord God. Anger

Ephesians 4:26 New King James Version || “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, God’s elect, anger is a natural thing embedded in the life of a man (generic) but it has to be controlled by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us. Our life is now owned by God through Christ Jesus by the Precious Holy Spirit. God is the creator of the universe, man inclusive, He sends Christ Jesus to come and die for man for his redemption and reconciliation, after the fall or the separation from God, Christ Jesus leaves the earth, and He sends another kind of Himself to be with the Saints (believers), which is the Holy Ghost. This is why anytime you want to do something; you will hear an inner voice in your heart, either to do or not to do, either to agree or to disagree: please that is never your conscience talking to you as a child of God, but God talking to your heart in the Name of Jesus, through the Holy Ghost on what to do, how and when to do it. Because of the above explanation from the scriptures, you can get angry alright, but it should never make you sin, the sun shall not go down on your anger; this means, day should not break on your anger. I Will Rejoice

Habakkuk 3:18 King James Version - Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. Joy/Rejoicing is a very key element in the life of the believer or the redeemed of the Lord. Joy/rejoicing is not and should not be an option to our Christian faith but rather a prerequisite or a standard for the believer, you might ask, why? Well, that is the instructions given us from the scriptures and it helps us draw from the walls of salvation – Isaiah 12:3. Reading from verse 17 of our Scripture Study, it was talking about how troublesome or unyielding the farm lands has been, but the Prophet has no option in verse 18 in our opening verse to rejoice. Rejoicing is a spiritual tool for the believer that connects us to our God and it is also a fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. The Person of our salvation is Christ Jesus, because the Bible says He has become our salvation and with joy we draw out of the wells of salvation. This means, with joy we receive or draw from the wells of Christ Jesus. Therefore never allow anything under this sun, steal your joy from you. Guard your joy with all diligence because when it departs from your heart, God’s elect, you might be doomed, “might”, because Grace and Mercy is still available. What is Joy then? Joy or Rejoicing is when a person is confident in God that nothing shakes or waivers him or her any longer, which makes him fulfilled in the heart even if it seems things are not going well with him or her. As the Lord Lives

1 Samuel 28:10 NKJV - And Saul swore to her by the Lord, saying, “As the Lord lives, no punishment shall come upon you for this thing.” God is mighty, there is nothing and man that can be compared to Him for He is the creator of all things. He is the same God of yesterday, today and forever. The living or existence of our God is based on the word He has said to our heart, either personally or corporately. Thus, the Lord God lives with His word in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. Example, “3 John 2 King James Version - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” That is a promise and the word of God to us, which means God lives in the above scripture. So now when I am talking to you now, I can say, “as the Lord lives;” you shall be in good health and prosper on the land of the living. This is why there is no option or consideration for giving up because as the Lord lives, divine health and prosperity is yours for the taking. Practice His Presence

Psalm 146:2 New King James Version || While I live I will praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. The proof that our parents or someone cares about us is when they really care not just in words when we are in their presence, but in our absence, how soon they check up on us. How would you feel travelling from home to school, a camp or just away from home for at least a week and your parents do not check up on you? We have ways of checking up on our loved ones or friends; in the same heart and regard the Lord also expects us to be that mindful of Him; I call that “practising the Presence of the Lord or the Holy Spirit ''. Practising the presence of the Lord is that simple, you just need to be conscious about Him or His presence in your life, then it translates to your mouth or speaking then it will definitely reflect in your actions. It can be as simple as, “thank You, Lord Jesus, I love You, I am grateful, You are all that I have, nothing can be compared to you, Oh Lord God, the good One”, the list can be endless, it does not mean you say all the above at once, but it should be said intermittently when and if the thought of the Lord comes to mind, we should just voice out some kind words or words of thanksgiving to His Holy and Mighty Name, by so doing, we are practising the Presence of the Lord or the Holy Spirit, shalom! Prisoner of Christ Jesus

Ephesians 3:1 New King James Version || For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles God’s elect, truth be told, if and when we have to truly and really experience Christ Jesus, then the mind and the attitude Apostle Paul had before writing this scripture should be eminent in our hearts. A prisoner is a prisoner; his or her right is limited, his or her movement is always restricted mostly within four walls, he is instructed on the time to lay to bed, wake up, what should be done by him or her and at what time, he or she is always monitored with whatever he or she does in the prison yard. God’s elect, we have to come to a point to be a prisoner of God by all standards, which is the only way we can know and experience Him in our lives. We need to come to a point in life, where all will be about Christ Jesus, He has to be our motivation why everything is done in this life, He needs to become the reason why we chose the school to attend, our careers, even the type of friends to keep, how we think, talk and even act; when the above is placed in the right perspective in our hearts, that is where and when we have truly become a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and we will be amazed within a short possible time what the Lord will have done with and in our lives. You Are a Leader - First, To Yourself

1 Corinthians 9:27 New King James Version || But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. In the context of one leading him or herself, I will define a leader as someone who has an agenda and is able to make people accomplish it. A leader should possess some qualities; a leader cannot and should not live a normal life as anybody lives in this current generation. Leaders are purposeful, with an aim or vision, and always on an agenda to achieve something. Our parents or mentors will not always be around us, to tell us what to do, if even we have that tight relationship with the Holy Ghost as I always advocate; we will have to decide if we should obey His voice or not, everything depends on us. A leader should be a person of discipline, because the body will always suggest something negative to us to be done which should not be done as a person with a vision or a leader. You should have a vision in life; devise strategies that will lead you to the accomplishments of that vision. Apostle Paul says I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, after I have preached to others, I myself should not become disqualified; this is the key to any leader in this life. Be an Example

1 Timothy 4:12 New King James Version || Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. We are able to read about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the patriarchs, the prophets, apostles, teachers and evangelists, the heroes of faith, the people of prayer, and people of consecration, the list can be endless; we are able to read and pick inspiration from their lives because of the exemplary live the lived. Never do or say whatever you would not like to be referred to. Whatever you do is always in the seed state, either good or bad, the good will definitely grow and bear good fruits, which will benefit the lives of people, the same way, the bad will also grow to bear bad fruits which will eventually eat up people. Do you realise how you know people that they have no idea of? The same way people also know you that you have no idea of. Whatever life you are living here on earth, you are either influencing a life in the positive or the negative, trust me! Make up your mind to live a positive exemplary life like how Father Paul was admonishing Son Timothy to be an example to the church, in word, conduct (character), in love, in spirit, faith and in purity. Whatever you do, you will not remain on planet earth, if you do not die, Christ will come for you; so live a life that will be pleasing to your Father in heaven so He will be glorified; shalom! Be Nice

Hebrews 13:2 American Standard Version || Forget not to show love unto strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. I will continue to advocate that everyone knows the Lord or the Holy Ghost personally; our generation is very an interesting one, people pretending everywhere especially on Social Media but if one is close and knows the Lord or the Holy Ghost intimately, you will be able to discern or to know the right from the wrong people per time, for the scripture says, He shall teach you all things, when the Holy Ghost comes - John 14:26 Being nice to the believer is never an option but the main thing, because it has been clear from the scripture. Being nice is not about carrying people's problems, but it is just extending a helping hand when and if you know you are truly in the position. At times, what people just need from you is “greetings, a sorry, please, thank you, forgive me, a smile, a handshake, a hug, a peck on the cheek (depending on your culture or region)”, there are so many things to be done when you truly set your heart to be nice, not for anything in return, but to the obedience and the love you have for the Name of Christ Jesus. Father Abraham was just being nice to strangers, but he was being nice to the Angels of the Lord, and a promise came to pass in his life. The same way our Lord God, in the Name of Christ Jesus also carries or walks in a presence encapsulated/captured in the Holy Ghost/Spirit. Thus, the presence of God or the Holy Ghost carries everything God and Jesus, when His Presence shows up, everything comes under control and the Peace or Shalom of the Lord is always revealed. Now, there is a code in entering that presence of the Lord, which is thanksgiving. Now, someone might ask, what should I thank the Lord for? God’s elect, just thank Him for any good thing, done on the earth, in your life, your family, school or people. You have a life, it is a good thing to be thankful to the Lord, you can eat, have food, dress, have shelter over your head, there is no way you can say, there is nothing to thank the Lord for. Bear the Yoke

Lamentations 3:27 New King James Version - It is good for a man to bear the yoke in his youth. There is a yoke for everybody in this life. Watching the featured image carefully, the two animals are yoked for a common purpose, agenda, goal, or aim. There are two masters in this life, either God, through the Holy Ghost in the Name of Christ Jesus upon our lives or the devil. Now both of them yoke the living in one way or the other just for purpose or a goal. Christ Jesus says in Matthew 12:30 that whoever who is not with Him is against Him; this means, you are either yoked with Christ Jesus for a purpose or with the devil also for a purpose. Two animals are yoked for transportation purposes or to graze a farming land. There will always be a yoke in the life of God’s elect, either with God or the devil. This is why our opening scripture is telling us to bear the yoke when we are a youth. Every age with the kind of yoke you need to bear, for example, I am bearing the yoke of fasting and prayers now, coupled with word study, as I am in the technology business, for people to know God and their purpose of being on the earth. The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved. At the mention of the Name Christ Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess His Lordship. That is the only Name which is above every name.   The name of a thing or personality carries its strength and weakness or even its personality personified. When I mention the name “IPhone”, it gives your idea or a certain kind of power or breakthrough in technology industry. When Joe Biden (American President) is mentioned now, you there is some kind of power that comes to the American on any land under the sun in the world. The same way, the Name of the Lord also should give the child of an ideology or a consciousness or a kind of power. The power we have here on the earth is the Name of the Lord which in Christ Jesus or Jesus Christ. Blessing is simply God in or upon the life of a person. Bible scholars call it “Zoe”; the God kind of life. So when someone says to you that God bless you, this means, the life of God in and upon your life, it’s a huge thing, God bless you! So when the bible is saying to us that, “blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord”, this means, as long as you come in the Name of the Lord; you come in the very life of the Lord. The Day of the Lord

Psalm 118:24 New King James Version || This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. There have been many occasions the prophets or the Old Testament has called the Lord’s Day or the day of the Lord, and the New Testament. In the Old Testament, when and if the Lord wanted to wrought great or mighty things, His Spirit will come on His chosen men/women, for the great and mighty things to be wrought. But in the New Testament church which is us; the Holy Spirit who comes on men occasionally has now made an abode or home in us, who directs us, and works with us every time that we yield the members of our body to Him. There are still special days in the life of the believer or God’s chosen, but the power has been now given to us to choose the days we are going to make the day of the Lord in our lives. You may ask how I can make any day, the day of the Lord in my life. Proverbs 3:6 New King James Version || In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. The above scripture answers the preceding question. To acknowledge God simply means; making God’s presence known. He Has Made Me Glad

Psalm 92:4 New King James Version || For You, Lord, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. Being glad is when one heart becomes joyous or extremely happy because of something happening. But as we are God’s elect, we do not have to wait for any happenings in our life to be glad. In our opening text, read critically to see how and why King David was glad, it was because of the work of the hands of the Lord. This tells us that King David's kind of gladness is because of the Lord; we all need to be at a point in life where we can love the Lord God and just be glad because He is our God and Lord. Have you ever been in a situation where you are just happy or glad just because you saw someone or someone spoke to you? This is the same with King David, when he just sees or realises the works of the Lord God, he begins or automatically begins to love the Lord and also be glad. This kind of gladness for the Lord God will only stem or step out from how much we love the Lord God. And the only way to love the Lord is when we spend time with Him in prayer and in His word. If people on the earth say communication is the very foundation and what keeps every thriving relationship then the same way we need to communicate to our Lord through His word and prayer. The Treasures of Darkness

Isaiah 45:3 New King James Version || I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places that you may know that I, the Lord, who call you by your name, am the God of Israel. God’s elect, whatever the Lord God says is final but He still listens to us when we present our reasons or logic to Him – Isaiah 1:18. God is God and He is the creator of the universe. Have we realised that what truly makes the life of men better or rich is always hidden in the ground? Talking about food, crude oil, precious stones like gold, diamonds, and rest. God is now promising us to give us the treasures of darkness, and the riches of the secret places. This demands that we have to be always near or close to Him if we want to receive from Him, there is no way someone can receive something from someone who is far. Apart from us being close or near to Him to be able to receive from Him, the other thing is to be bold and close our minds, which includes our ears and ears, even our feeling to anything man because the word of God will never make sense to people who live in the flesh or the natural man. Have you ever thought to yourself how crude oil was discovered? What of the gold, or precious stones? What of the foods that we now eat? The third thing we need to do to enjoy the treasures of darkness and riches of the secret places should be “adventurous”, we need to be fearless also but with wisdom. Look to Me and be saved

The Name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and they are saved – Proverbs 18:10 God’s elect, since the devil is said to be the prince and ruling through the minds of people because he succeeded in negating their minds and conscience. Your soul being saved from the hands of the enemy is just done once, but as long as your salvation did not take you to heaven immediately, then it means your saving should be every day the enemy attempts something against your life. 2 Corinthians 1:10 New King James Version || who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us. Since we have established that being saved or delivered is and should be constant in the life of the believer, but there is always a principle that works, which is us looking to the Lord. Looking to the Lord here is when He is invited into our lives, when we begin to seek His mind, towards whatever we put our hands to do. In our scripture study, some people spoke against God and His choicest servant, Moses. The Lord sent some animals to bite them, when they looked to the Lord and prayed, the Lord commanded Moses to make a bronze serpent and hang it on a pole, as the sick people were looking at the brazen serpent, they were just being healed.
