i think i had a go at compiling a list like this a few years ago, but i’m hoping to start again with blogs that are active. so! this blog will be putting together a masterlist of blogs / characters in the rpc from classic literature. anything from homer to hemingway goes. if your character is based in any piece of classic literature, reblog this post with your character’s name, the title of the book, and the author (for example, ‘victor frankenstein / frankenstein / mary shelley’). multimuses are welcome, as are ocs who have been specifically created for a work of classic lit.

Quote
Look, you say to yourself, look how everything in the world is growing cold. Some more years will pass, and will be followed by cheerless solitude, and then will come tottering old age, with its crutch, and after it despair and desolation.
Fyodor Dostoevsky, “White Nights” (via blacktout)
