Wanderers of this realm,
Are you lost? Truly, you are not. Let me introduce you to who this place belongs—the name is Dionysus Aldrich, you can simply address me with Dion or Al, or any nickname you prefer to latch personally (although, please refrain from making it weird). I have no problem being addressed with various pronouns, such as he/they/she (in no specific order). This year, I am 26+ years old. I am unapologetically queer—love wins and love liberates.
Daily, I am working as a Doctoral researcher in the Netherlands, whose specialised areas are gender, sexuality, and children's rights. People say that I am unfiltered when it comes to political opinions online, and they are damn right. But don't think that it is integral to my online persona—as I am doing most work offline, which I don't really share if you're only mutuals on X. I am a researcher and an educator, but I don't do any of this online. In contrast, I actually have strong opinions against digital activism and how years of research have proven that it does not work. When I'm online, I'm simply trying to enjoy my time observing, surfing, browsing, and ranting. Online is never where I do my work. So, if you know me online only—refrain from perceiving me based on my offline works and affiliations. :)
What else is there to say? Oh, I have keen adoration towards animals. I have a 6 years old dog at home who is a feisty little guy—sometimes I post pictures and videos of him when I miss him terribly. I also like cats, I think they are majestic. I visit Cat Cafe sometimes when I'm in the Netherlands because I think staring at them is therapeutic—these are truly interesting creatures with abilities to teach you about consent, somehow, because if not, you'll be scratched, and that's totally on you!
I also like various K-Pop artists, I have been a loyal wanderer in this realm for over 10 years. But my current fixation is only Stray Kids, honestly. For J-Pop, the list is more extensive; find your interests among One OK Rock, LiSA, Centimillimental, My First Story, Ren, Yuuri, Yoasobi, Yorushika, Official HIGE DANdism (Higedan), Aimer, and many more.
I have no interesting information to share after this, I guess. If you'd like to find out more about me, my work, and my interest, feel free to knock on private messages anytime. But please keep in mind that my energy easily depletes—please don't take it to heart if I don't reply to your texts immediately.
DNI LIST
Zionists, queerphobic (yes, that includes transphobia, I love my trans friends to the core), people who exercise shallow understanding of sexual consent/misogynists/victim-blamers in any sort of sexual violence cases, racists, and... this is the most fun part, anyone that I find annoying or narrow-minded.
Please keep in mind that if I happen to block you, you reserve no right to ask for explanation—unless I intend to, with my personal reasons you do not need to know because, you know, none of your business. If none of your deeds fit the DNI List criteria, then most of the time I just find you annoying to let roam around my timeline.
That's all for the short introduction, I guess. I know that I might sound harsh in voicing out my opinions somehow—but hey, everyone needs to practice setting up boundaries, anyway. Regardless, I wish you can find a piece of solace here, dear wanderer.

List of books I have vested interest in,
Note: Please be advised that I have goldfish memory, that I might not have listed down everything I have read. If you are curious about writer/book, especially if it is social-science sort of non-fiction, don't hesitate to just ask!
Philosophy, Politics
Anything that is written by Simone de Beauvoir, Karl Marx, Friedrich Engels, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (Lenin), Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Paul Sartre, Michel Foucault, Judith Butler, and Mao Zedong. I have a curious fixation with both existentialism and dialectical-materialism, as I profoundly identify with both.
Feminism
Anything that is written by Simone de Beauvoir, Andrea Dworkin, Catharine A. MacKinnon, Nawal el-Saadawi, and Anuradha Gandhy. These are my pillars when it comes to feminist theories and practices. In addition, I have read Mary Wollstonecraft and Naomi Wolf. I've only read most liberal feminist books because of their pioneering ideas, though. I have also read Rosemarie Tong but I possess criticism against her ideas, Feminist Thought, that I occasionally share if I am in the mood to do so.
Recently, I have been reading Lise Vogel. A Marxist-feminist thinker who proposes "unitary theory" between Marxism and Feminism.
Literature (Asian, Classic, General)
The only Asian literature writers whose books I have managed to finish (hard to swallow, honestly) are Han Kang, Asako Yuzuki, Osamu Dazai. A protege gifted me Ocean Vuong's book once, but I have yet to indulge in it.
When it comes to Indonesian writers, I have quite a list. Pramoedya Ananta Toer is, of course, one of them. And then there is also Clara Ng (when it comes to queer literature), and more than anything I wish to start indulging in Intan Paramaditha, too.
For classic literature, my completed read list includes Sherlock Holmes (not all series), Jekyll & Hyde, Frankenstein, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and Wuthering Heights. I also plan on delving into the works of Virginia Woolf—Orlando, especially. The Picture of Dorian Gray is among my to-be-read as well.
For other literature, I have finished reading Harry Potter series (I do have to affirm that I truly DESPISE JKR, though, so please get her and her transphobia away from my space). Percy Jackson series, Narnia (somewhat), Kane Chronicles series, The Song of Achilles, Leah on The Offbeat, and many more.
NO READ-LIST
Anything written by Zionist authors. Please refer to this list if you wish to know more: x.com/zionistsinbooks
(I am well aware that I did read HP series, though the time I did it was 12-14 years ago, I strongly suggest people to deplatform JKR for her problematic Zionist and transphobic ass. I am putting it on the list simply because, let's trauma-bond, former Potterheads.)
I also don't read anything related to self-development/self-help. I always have strong opinions against these type of books for years, honestly. One of it was that oftentimes they're capitalistic, neurotypical, and most of the time misogynistic bullcraps. And if you're wondering if I've ever read some before—yes, I did. More than five of them, or more, no less. Worst decision of my life and total waste of pennies. Should've just saved them up for actual therapies.
