Hello !! Could you do a Connor(rk800) headcanon or imagine (as you like ) of him going to the beach with the reader (maybe hank and sumo too) because it’s the summer (in my country I don’t for you but it is very hot (I am going to melt I think ) . It’s the final month of winter for me and it’s actually somewhat cold just because of the westerly winds.Also thank you very much, low-key procrastinated writing this just so I could read that every time I looked into my inbox. I really needed the support. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -  -

After weeks of organizing you and Hank were able to have a three-day weekend off to just go to the beach together with Connor and Sumo. Hank eagerly packed away all his things when the clock struck leaving time.“I’ll see you in the morning, kid.” Hank ruffled your hair before rushing off out the door.“Has Hank left already?” Connor let his gaze rest on the door as he placed a drink and a small plate of biscuits on your desk.“Yeah, it’s time for Hank to leave.”“An hour early.”“On time by Hank standards.” Connor nodded in agreement at you comment.“Maybe we should leave as well, you’ll need to sleep we’ve got a big drive in the morning.” Connor offered you a rare cheeky smile, an action he’s adapted from the Lieutenant. You returned the smiled.“I guess I have finished all my work.” You were just as quick as Hank to pack away your things and interlocked hands with Connor practically running out of the door.

It was by pure accident that you didn’t go to bed until 2 in the morning, you and Connor just had one of the philosophical talks that go for hours and well pass sunrise. Connor paced around the apartment making sure he had gathered everything on the list and placed it by the door. Your bag of clothes as well as a bag of road trip snacks. He quickly glanced over to the shopping bag of beach clothes you secretly bought for him. He was wondering if he should take them or not. Yes he should, you’ll wan to swim with him and it wouldn’t be ideal to have sand all in his uniform. Connor went over to the dining table grabbed the bag and placed it by yours.

“You should’ve woken me up.” You tiredly mumbled as you walked over to the kitchen getting yourself a glass of water.“Hank notified me that he had slept in so I let you sleep in as well.” You hummed in understanding. You sluggishly walked back into the lounge room as saw how Connor was still in his uniform. “Where’s your beach clothes?” He looked behind him to the shopping bag that he put by the door. You sighed picking it up and yanking out a bright Hawaiian shirt with a pair of board shorts. “Change.”

“I didn’t know you had style, Connor.” Hank stated impressed with the outfit.“All me.” You pointed to yourself proudly before taking a double take on your boyfriend. “Hmm, okay 35% is him actually being able to work it.” Sumo barked in agreement.��“C’mon good lookin, we got a beach to get too!”

“Sweet, sweet salvation!” You threw your arms in the air upon seeing the glorious oceans blues. You ran off onto the warm sand plopping your items in an open spot. Sumo managed to get his lead out of Hank’s hand and chase after you. “Sumo!” You yelled as the mammoth of a dog charged passed you and dived into the water. He splashed around happily getting tangled in his lead. You simply laughed as Sumo tried to run around you just so you couldn’t get him. “Sumo, I need to get you lead off.”“Sumo.” At the mention of his name Sumo skipped over to Connor and patiently waited for Connor to take off the lead.“Never ceases to amaze me how you can do that.” You shook you head in disbelief. “You just have a way with dogs.”“Guess you could call it a gift.” He whispered as his arms slowly snaked around your torso. Your turned your head just in time to see a an evil smirk playing on his lips.“Connor- NO! PUT ME DOWN!” You shrieked as Connor picked you up and walked further into the water.“You said you wanted to cool down.”
