Its very bare bones right now (really only the intro and the start of the soul arts/sorcery article), but I’ve started to build out the wiki for my homebrew world of Meridia. Inspired by media like lovecraft, sunless sea, cultist simulator, berzerk, and warhammer, the world of Meridia is one abandoned by God, a divine being being beyond human comprehension and who truth has been forgotten in everything but name.
Leaving behind only the Servants, equally as eldritch creations that serve as the machine that keep the universe going, humanity attempts to build up its kingdoms, empires, and civilization. Limited by their understanding of the truth of the cosmos, most must engage purely in the mundane, but some, seeking greater power or knowledge, attempt to learn greater truths. Most go mad, but some gain access to a fraction of a fraction of the decaying remnants of divine energy that were left behind and try to play God through what would be like ants playing with specks of dust to the true divine.
Would love for ya’ll to check it out! And would love feedback or even suggestions!

honestly i think the reason why it’s so common for kids to have the “it’s not a phase, mom” argument in their adolescence is less because they genuinely plan for their current state of being to remain utterly unchanged forever and more because they’re tired of having their interests/self expression/beliefs/etc dismissed as foolish due to being probably temporary
i know that when i was that age i certainly wasn’t thinking about whether or not i’d be into whatever shit i was into then when i was 80, all i knew was that i was sick of feeling like the adults in my life were just rolling their eyes and waiting out everything that was important to me at that moment

An underground town by the name Coober Pedy is a small mining town with a population of just under 2,000, but it’s also the “opal capital of the world” and has been supplying most of the world’s gem-quality opal since it was founded in 1915. In this waterless environment, not much activity goes on above ground and instead, the community exists in a network of tunnels underneath the desert earth, inside some 1,500 homes and dwellings they call their “dug-outs.” (Via)
