jack: maybe not, but they are awesome and i think that more than makes up for their shortcomings in this particular area

marnie: well in that case the nightmare on elm street sequels tend to be worse than the scream sequels bc wes craven didn't do another nightmare movie until he did wes cravens new nightmare

marnie: and he directed all the screams so ultimately i'm gonnna have to keep scream

jack: i love both films too, but that's why i think it's a question worth examining.

jack: hm. i see your point about most of the nightmare sequels being trash, but the original is /so good/ that i feel like it almost makes up for that

jack: i respect your opinion but...i think i'd keep nightmare on elm street.

jack: everything i know about pregnancy i got from rosemary's baby and alien and those movies didn't cover any of this shit

jack: well, the constant mood swings can make it kinda difficult to pin down exact emotions

jack: even if i /did/ ask her, whatever answer she gives isn't guaranteed to last long

jack: and this is mostly unrelated but she won't stop eating pickles???
