Happy MAR10 day! I'm going to honor the Koopalings heavily today, play Super Mario Bros 3 as part of that!

Iggy Koopa is a master of machinery but (and?) he is also a complete freakazoid. Praised as "the brainy kid" during his childhood - no doubt to to Ludwig's chagrin - Iggy once upon a time supplied his King Dad with a smorgasbord of Inventions, such as the cloning machine GLOM (my favorite), everything in Yoshi's Safari, and the one that makes you freaky friday switch with a random person (self explanatory). These days, though, his "inventions" are limited to insane rube goldberg machines that do nothing, attempts to break reality as we know it, or dumb pranks. Iggy is completely maniacal and does not give a shit what people think of him; he also considers himself a genius but unlike Ludwig he kind of is. Extremely close with lemmy and loves to show off his instruments of chaos to his easily impressed brother (ironic because when they were younger iggy was the one easily impressed by him). Beyond that though Iggy and Lemmy both deeply admire each other's unflappable strangeness in their own way, and also love causing trouble with each other. Iggy has an affinity for chain chomps and has his own pet chain chomp aptly named Chompy, and he also loves the jungle which is why he made his head into a tree. Oh, and he also has a violent phobia of yoshis as of super mario world because when bowser put him on Yoshi's Island he was scared of the yoshis so he isolated himself on a floating rock and crouched there until@mario came and pushed him off the rock.

I tried to incorporate a bit of her old school Kootie Pie vibes into some of the art here although I mainly used her modern design as the core reference.

We actually spoke a bit more and he asked me if I ever wanted to talk to more than just the Koopalings, and I said I'm not very sure at the moment. He made it clear he was encouraging the idea, but also said it's ultimately my choice what I do and who I work with, and that yeah, I have plenty of entities in my repertoire already.

I'm not against expanding, but rather I'm just not sure if I'm that invested in Mario lore as a whole to wanna do more. I mostly care exclusively about the Koopalings, and I don't wanna like. begin talking to, like, King Boo and then not feel much passion for him. That'd be rude to him.

I do think I'd like to try and work with characters like Chain Chompette who isn't canon but was part of the whole Bowsette craze that happened.

There's just a lot for me to debate on, so.

Talked to Roy today, nothing much but was told to be strong and have pride in who I am. We talked with the Oracle of Pluto (which is a good deck), and I got the Lion card and had to work a bit harder for a meaning because the only given meaning is "What does the Divine Masculine mean to you?" and I don't... follow that very much lol. But I instead thought about what Lion as an archetype can represent, thus strength and pride.

Roy didn't have much else to say so I do wonder a bit why he showed up to say one small thing then leave, but what can ya do, lol.
