Imagine if Kai had a thing with food where he’d often go around the kitchen just checking to make sure they had enough because there were times he and his sister didn’t exactly have much, and he was starting to get over that habit, until Monstrosity reared its beautiful, ugly head and Kai was sucked back into the habit again thanks to the times he had so little food and even went hungry for a day or two.

Wouldn’t it be fun if the ninja notice Kai’s old habit suddenly come back after he makes it back?

the way day of the departed and way of the departed could've been its own season 7 and it would be an excellent continuity addition. the way they'd only need to write in a spell to make wu like lost in time-space and make him a baby and everything would tie back into season 8 with no issues.
