if you’re hearing YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG by AC/DC playing, you have to know DEXTER ROMERO (HE/SHE; MALE) is near by! the THIRTY-TWO year old FREELANCE ELECTRICIAN/HANDYMAN has been in denver for, like, ONE YEAR. they’re known to be quite ROWDY, but being CHARMING  seems to balance that out. or maybe it’s the fact that they resemble DAVID CASTAÑEDA. personally, i’d love to know more about them seeing as how they’ve got those LUMBERJACK LOOK, ALWAYS DANCING AROUND AND ALWAYS WORKING ON SOMETHING  vibes. and maybe i’ll get my chance if i hang out around the MONTBELLO DISTRICT long enough!

Dexter's family came a long way before ending up in Colorado. It started with her parents moving from Mexico to New Mexico to give their kids a better life, however, it was still hard as money was scarce and they weren't giving the children the life they had expected.

The Romero children were four, with Dexter being the second youngest one and at age 3 and his parents sent him and the second older sibling to live with his aunt and uncle who were already settled in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The couple raised them as their own kids since they didn't have any and Dexter was especially happy with his life, making his first memories there.

He grew up to be a curious kid, upbeat and quite rowdy but his cute smile and charm would always get him out of trouble. School bored him to death and instead was more interested in how things worked or how to make them work so he'd often be picking things apart and trying to put them back together.

When his parents finally made it through and settled in Denver, Dexter had already set roots in Colorado Springs, with all his friends and favorite places so when the time to move with his parents came, the boy kept trying to get back with his aunt and uncle. Though it broke their heart, Dex's parents let him stay there but he'd visit his parents regularly.

It was this way until he finished high school, Dexter was not interested in going to university or getting a fancy degree so he took some courses and became a good handyman, particularly good with electricity.

One summer when he was 23 and visiting his parents, Dexter had a one-night stand, nothing was supposed to change although three months later, the woman he'd hooked up with got in touch with him and told him she was pregnant. Dexter stood up and accepted his responsibility. She moved to Colorado Spring so they could co-parent, their kid but a year and a half ago she had to return to Denver to look after her mother and Dexter moved in after her to keep their family close.
