before he was bitten, he got along better with his uncle than his father (who is a cop). his uncle connected with him better and seemed to have a better understanding of him

he won a lottery to get into brooklyn visions academy after passing the entrance exam, a private school.

became the loser at his new school when his powers kicked in and they were out of his control

he goes back looking for the spider and boom! spider-man is in a fight with green goblin to stop kingpin from using a supercollider to merge universes together. spider-man dies and on his death bed, asks miles for help stopping kingpin

was chased by a villain called the prowler, who he later finds out is uncle aaron. in a fight with the prowler, he reveals his own identity to stop him from killing him. aaron stops, but is then shot dead. miles’ dad finds aaron’s dead body with the new spider-man standing over him, and of course, doesn’t react well

miles didn’t believe he was capable of stopping kingpin at first, but over time (and with the help of spider-people from other universes) grew into his role as spider-man

he was able to send the other spider-people back to their own universes and swore to protect the city the way spider-man/peter parker once had
