As much as I love Stranger Things, I’m gonna need Eleven and Max to be friends in Season 3 because the ‘female lead sees the only other same-aged female in the group as a rival instead of an ally’ thing was the most cringy part of season 2 and I really don’t need to see anymore of it with these kids.

Perspective

It’s different being in a different country - let alone the country that your ancestors are from -  and learning, seeing, trying to understand the poverty that infects it. The Philippines is a tourist trap : a land of green lush fields, beautiful beaches, amazing mountain ranges that has been ravaged and stripped. The filipino, are a generous folk and it hurts that many people come to this country and do not want to understand the people, they just take and take until it is just a country made to keep others happy. I don’t know about any other Filipinos but this hurts me, my parents and grandparent’s homeland is being used and abused and taken for granted.

IT SMELLS, IT IS DIRTY, THERE ARE BEGGARS, THERE ARE SLUMS - Because it is a poor nation catering to the richer ones.

The white sand beaches, and amazing hospitality is only 1/4 of the Philippines. The rest lies in the cracked streets of Manila and the calloused hands, feet, and dignity of the Filipino.
