Our social studies curriculum at Downers South focuses on the ideas of social justice, social responsibility, and the truth that one person CAN make a difference. This spring, our freshmen have decided to raise funds for refugee families throughout the world. Our students will be selling t-shirts, putting up posters, and soliciting family, friends, and local businesses for support. Each class has picked a family to support.
