The Intelligent Student & Failed CEO
1) A CEO is expected to produce leadership
2) To spot talent
3) To inspire the team
4) To create a Vision
5) To keep the team ahead and stay in the background
6) To make a motivating working environment
7) To build We and to Kill the I
8) A CEO need not be a great intellectual, great student or a topper
9) In fact it is better he not be a topper
10) Because the topper is a competitive fellow
11) The topper wants to keep others behind
12) But the CEO's job is to keep others in front
13) So the best CEO student of the class would actually be someone who got low grades
14) Someone who never made it to the IITs and the IIM
15) And still Corporates miss this person because they hire from the big institutes
16) They hire competitive minded people
17) Whereas a Good CEO is collaborative minded who builds a Company made of happy employees
18) Who produce happy service and happy customers
19) Happy Customers willing to pay a premium happily
20) Breaking the notion that price is the only yardstick of success
21) Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Dhirubhai Ambani, Mark Zuckerberg were not competitive minded toppers
22) And look at the Enterprises they built

3 Fundamentals of Business Value
1) One can never be rich alone. You need to share your wealth with your employees and shareholders
2) Business is never a zero sum game. The only way to play Business is the Win Win way. So the product the client gets has to be higher in value than what the client can make himself
3) Business is sustainable only and only if it either reaches a lot of people or it impacts the lives of its customers positively making them come for more and more
