ONLY Louisana celebrates Mardi Gras it is parades and parties

it refers to events of the Carnival celebration, beginning on or after the Christian feasts of the Epiphany and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday.

the most popular place in New Orleans people go all the time to watch the Saints other football games, concerts, marching bands and etc.

 My favorite restaurant in New Orleans is New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood

I use to work there and love trying all the food , my favorite is the Pasta ,fried catfish and shrimp.

What I love about my city...

   Hey, Y'all! My name is Diajelle Batiste and I am from New Orleans.

What I love about my city is that It is most likely a popular city in the United States where it all special because of beignets, jazz music, etc. There is not one city that is like New Orleans. My city is a city that never sleeps. There always festivals and celebrations out here. This city is the only city that has Mardi Gras. My city of New Orleans is also famous for its food like seafood, gumbo, and red beans. It will taste different from the food you have from anywhere else. When I went to Alabama and had try seafood there it was nothing like what I tasted in New Orleans.

Cafe du Monde is a good place to go to when visiting New Orleans for beignets. New Orleans is where Cafe du Monde was first established in 1862. I love going over there is so popular that it be crowded and always have long lines. I can walk around the French Quarters and eat beignets all day.

     Jazz was born in New Orleans about 100 years ago in the 20th century, it is a musical tradition of both Africa and Europe. It is the most popular music in New Orleans.

I love the football team of my city. I'm the biggest fan of the Saints. I was amazed by the Saints when I first watch them. New Orleans has the best supporters for the Saints. The Saints have been there since 1967. In 2010 is when the Saints won the Superbowl. These other cites ain't got nothing on my city. I love that my city that it symbolizes and popular for so many things.
