Doubt, fear, frustration, anger, confusion, depression, etc. You name it, I felt it. It’s not the destination, but the journey and I am a strong believer in the process. Our journeys are different, mine took time but I MADE IT! With my blood, sweat and tears, I dedicate this accomplishment to those who’ve been there along the way. Here’s to y’all for never giving up on me and never letting me fall short of my capabilities. For many sleepless nights and nights when I just needed distractions. Words can’t begin to express how thankful I am to be surrounded by people who love me unconditionally and support me wholeheartedly. And cheers to ME for my strength, my perseverance, my hope, and my God. I DID IT, IT’S DONE!

I found myself on an emotional high

until I got a call that changed my mind.

The call was from a number I knew years ago,

and I thought to myself, oh shit here we go.

“I’m great, happy as you can see,”

I looked at my phone and the thought came quick…

Oh fuck no! Then I hit him with the click.

I looked to my friend as we’re both in shock,

His audacity as the clock goes tick tock.

If the roles were reserved
