Gonna start my daily swimming training soon 🔜 One of my personal healthcare experience of swimming according to CTM(Chinese Traditional Medicine) is that if you soak your body in lukewarm water, jacuzzi, for 5-8 mins before jumping into the pool it will neutralize the coldness of the pool water. 5 mins jacuzzi soaking is adequate to keep your body warm before your body generates enough warmth itself to keep body temperature after laps of swimming. Our body temperature should always stay on a stable level so we don’t get sick easily. According to CTM the top priority of healthcare precaution for both men and women is to keep your body away from being exposed to sudden cold water/weather, which would take your QI away and put HAN QI(寒气)into your body. HAN QI goes into your body when your pores are open and causes sicknesses when your body temperature varies significantly while your immune system is not strong enough to withstand the attack. HAN QI is regarded as the culprit of many nameless sicknesses that cannot be described and cured by Western medicine. That’s why a lot of Chinese people don’t drink cold water no matter what😌. This tip is very important for swimming beginners who also want to keep a long term well-being of health by taking this fitness training. However, for a semi pro of swimming as myself I am inclined to jump into the pool right after a intensely sweating workout, running, weights-lifting,etc. to stimulate my immune system, as I usually gain my body warmth right after one lap swimming in the pool, but I don’t suggest people w daily ACTIVE calorie consumption below 1500 Kcal to use this regimen of mine. It can easily cause sickness for physically not-so-strong people. 🤟 FOLLOW me if you find this useful. #swimming #swimmingtips#swimmingpool #healthcare #healthylifestyle#healthandwellness#cmt #chinesemedicinetreatment #chinesemedicine https://www.instagram.com/p/CNuWQ4-nhxW/?igshid=3oot2ykukerk
