MASCULINITY IS ATTRACTIVE.
this was brought to my attention and i couldn’t stop thinking about it…
so i asked different women what they thought about Masculinity
here’s what the ladies said:
i would define it as the stereotypical male
“strong, courageous, respectful”
or what a man used to be back in the day
B.B.
Being strong taking pride in what u do but at
the same time knowing when to be gentle
chivalrous or respectful of others
M.C.
the opposite of most biola men
does that count…lol?
1. knows his identity as a man, in relation to other men and
his responsibility of caring after women and honoring them
2. has a toughness to him yet no overpowering…
3. does not come off as “one of the girls”
4. has swag
Queen
Passages in bible that talk about
Husbands loving their wives
men becoming pastors and be able to conduct that
in their homes [wife kids] and lead a church
Show faithfulness to the lord so they can be a good husband and father
LG
Something that can’t be produce but god given
LT
A man that is Godly…to be continued
RD
1. protective (both in behavior and in stature) 2. bold 3. responsible 4. commands respect 5. loves God (obviously this is not in order…LOL) 6. sensitive but not sissy 7. does not cross me as gay, not for one moment…lol 8. put away boyish tendencies 9. here is some imagery (i can look at you and think “yum”…you have this combination of sex appeal and yet this embrace that makes me feel like you have my back. i look at you and your interactions and i am immediately drawn to you through the way you speak, the way you handle me and others around you…“
Masculinity is attractive
DB
I think masculinity is leadership [role, spiritually, protective]
What they were created to do, provision, integrity
Systematic,
Not feelers for the most part
Level of leadership characterized by a gift
Spiritual leadership is masculinity

JOB 6:15-17
My brothers, you have proved as unreliable as a seasonal brook
that overflows its banks in the spring when it is swollen with ice
and melting snow. But when the hot weather arrives, the water
disappears. The brook vanishes in the heat.
