I’m not spending another summer hating my body
So here’s the plan:
- Water water water đź’¦ drink a glass of lemon water when you first wake up every morning. Drink it throughout the day, bring your water bottle everywhere and keep it full.
- No more unnecessary calories. So no more pop, juice, coffee, etc. And no more junk food. Only healthy and whole foods are to be in your body. Number one reason why you crave so much is because your body isn’t getting the right nutrients.
- Exercise on the daily. There’s lots of tips online and good work outs. I’ll be focusing on my glutes, cardio and flexibility. The snow is melting and it’s getting warm enough to be outside; jog every Saturday morning for at least a half hour. Every morning do 15-20 minutes of yoga/stretches. (Look on YouTube for videos) And every other day do a butt workout (or more).
- Aim for 7-9 hours each night, no more and no less. Which means be in bed bt at least midnight. Sleeping in too long can make you just as tired. Along with that, only use your bed for sleeping. Your brain will associate your bed for sleepinf only and you’ll be able to sleep sooner and better. So if you feel like laying around, go to the living room or something.
- BUT don’t lay around all day either. The less you lay around, the more calories you’ll burn. So take your dog for a walk, go to the mall, hang out with a friend. Or clean the house (or your room). Just do something.
- Take one self care day a week. Run a bath, put on a face mask, shave/wax, give yourself a manicure. Do whatever you look but just remember to relax and enjoy your time by yourself.
- Once a month, go do something new. That could be getting your nails done, a hair cut, buying a new outfit or shoes, or it could be going to a new event or place in town. If you’re one of those people who always seem stuck on the same boring routine, this will help you feel a little more alive.
- Study study study. Sometimes it’s hard to find motivation to sit down and do work but it’s very important to. Spend at least every other night working on something for 30-60 minutes. Maybe have a study date with a friend to help keep you in front of your books. I used to FaceTime my best friend while I did my homework at home, mostly because he was smart asf and could help me with anything- but it kept me focused long enough to do it. If you’re not in school then try reading a book or learning something new like a language or new skill
I’m following these tips until summer at least, and by then they should habits so engraved that I just do them.
These are not unhealthy habits, they are habits anyone could pick up. They are very positive habits and I encourage anyone to take them on as it will benefit them in several ways

TIPS:
- Eat a tums after purging. It neutralizes the effects of the acid. DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH AFTER THROWING UP. You’re basically rubbing it in your enamel. Eat a mint and carry on. Maybe swish mouth wash and water around in your mouth. Eat the tums slow. 2 at most. I don’t support bulimia but I know you can’t control yourselves.
- Don’t overdue laxatives, they fuck with your system. I suggest no more than once a month. Maybe once every couple of months but on different days so your body doesn’t develop a routine to it.
-When making a salad, cook the vegetables in lemon and a smidge of apple cider vinegar and parsley and fennel seed. Teriyaki sauce is 30 cal a Tsp. Maybe use that for flavor.
-Aspartame is not going to make you gain weight if you drink the drinks in moderation. No more than 3 diet cokes a day is my recommendation.
- Take Garcinia Cambogia, the PILL, not the gummy. Wait. Then eat. It says take three a day but to lose noticeable weight, take 4-6. Family dollar is cheapest, I found.
-Face masks and animal cruelty free products are great for your skin and hair.
-Biotin will be your best friend to strengthen your nails, hair and skin.
-Don’t overdo the beauty regimen and masks and face washing. It’ll cause your face to break out. Water is typically a better substitute between washes.
- Don’t weigh yourself everyday. But not once every week either. I recommend every 3 days. Just so you have a couple of varying opinions.
-Drinking water to fill myself up doesn’t work for me. I recommend green tea or even oolong. Preferably unsweet. Maybe with lemon or fruit blend. It’ll fill you up.
-If you feel as if you’re about to binge, go after the healthy foods and try to make a salad. Avoid the sweets. Try to. If you can’t, then don’t beat yourself up and start fresh but maybe ask your parents to buy healthier foods and such.
- DO NOT over do it on water. You’ll drown your system. I know you want to be hydrated and healthy but some of these people drink so much fucking water, how they’re alive is news to me. Drink until you’re full. Then stop. Don’t force yourself to drink 2L a day because a post on the internet told you to.
- Try to arrange your meals to be 3-5 hours apart. Me, I wake up at 5 AM, so I eat around 5:30-6:00 then eat lunch at 12:17 and eat dinner at 3:30-5:00 PM.
-Try to only have one meal a day, this will be especially easy if you have school. Don’t eat at school and only eat at home so your parents aren’t suspicious, it’s like setting up a 24 hour fast everyday.
-Avoid alcohol bc calories.
- if someone is getting suspicious about your eating habits, the next day make a salad with a bunch of stuff in it that’s low cal, include a protein (eggs, chicken, etc.) And a dressing that’s low in cals. Pack a bottle of unsweetened tea and sip between eat bite just to fill yourself up. Spit it into a napkin occasionally. But you’re eating infront of them. Just be cautious.
-Boil asparagus and sprinkle light cheese on them if you crave dairy.
-Eat salted almonds or salted popcorn if your crave salt.
- eat celery with light or whips yogurt if you want sweet.
-PEANUT BUTTER IS YOUR FRIEND. It has oils your body needs, although high in calories. It boosts metabolism and if you’re a vegetarian or cutting down on meat, is a good protein.
-Olive oil is also your friend. It’s good for your hair and skin. It’s not a metabolism booster and it’s high in calories but add a smidge to the occasional meal.
- noodles are immensely high in calories, try to avoid.
-Be naked when you weigh yourself.
- Try to do this basic work out at least every day to ensure your body is getting somewhere: Stretch your body. 30 second toe touches standing 60 second toe touches sitting Bicycle legs 10 squats Stretch, holy fuck stretch. Circle your arms 30 times forward and backwards 40 crunches. (Sit ups are optional) And eat before you do.
- Try to eat one to two meals a day, preferably or especially breakfast. Prep your body for success, you won’t be as hungry later.
-Drink water through out the day.
-Grow your own herb garden that has metabolism, diet and digestive aid. Add it to your food. It’ll be beautiful and fresh, more effective then dried.
-Try to sleep before 9. And being on your laptop all the time, laying it on your lap and stomach sometimes can cause a stomach bulge so try to not do that and maybe your stomach will shrink.
-Try to take a 2 hour break from technology before deciding to sleep. Just trynna spare your eyes.
