I picked city as my team in 2010 on nothing but vibes (favorite color is sky blue). But i started really following them in January 2023 - I was super depressed and in grad school having a really hard time, and I needed something to look forward to every week
And it was watching Kevin de Bruyne that really made me fall in love with the team and with football as a whole. Watching him, I finally Got why people became so obsessed with the game, and I became obsessed with it too. And him at city that season really did help me get through a very hard time in my life.
So thank you to the king for everything 🩵
