I just want to say thank you to SHINee for making 2018 memorable. It’s been a rough year for all of us, with the passing of our dear Jonghyun, but us Shawols have been blessed with TSOL 1-3, Minho’s acting pursuits, Taemin’s newest Japanese album and Sirius tour, Kibum’s debut album and now Jinki’s. And even Jonghyun left us a masterpiece in the form of Poet|Artist. The boys are older now, they’re stronger too, but now with Jinki’s enlistment in just a few short days, its bittersweet in a way that 2018 is rounding out with his beautiful voice before he leaves us for his military service, but in some way I’ve made peace with the fact that SHINee will always be SHINee, but the members have to grow and mature and eventually follow their own paths. That said, 2018 I think has been SHINee’s year and I’ll always be grateful to them for their talent and their music. No matter where Minho, Taemin, Kibum and Jinki end up in their lives, I hope they will be happy and never forget that we love them as much as they love us.
