anyway you should always remember that all those foreigners you see dying on the news are just as real people as you are who have just as much interiority as you do. there is nothing about you that makes you more important and it is by pure chance that you are not in their position. in fact, this holds for all of history. every person, no matter the horror of the fate that befell them, had just as much interiority as you do. i feel like some people haven't fully internalized this.

thinking about how maybe, there is someone across the world who dreams the same things as me. who loves the same way i do. who views life like i do. how somewhere out there, there is surely someone else who will understand you and appreciate you for who you are. platonic or romantic, it comforts me to know that there will be at least one person who would see me as a fellow human being, who would cherish me and understand me in ways no one, not even my own family, can. i’m uncertain as to whether i will ever have the chance to meet you. but if i don’t, i know you are somewhere out there. and that is enough for now.

There is this 2 episode show that have black actors talking about what it is like to be the top billing as a black person and Gabrielle union was talking about the black best friend to the white lead trope and the black women who dies first and then showed a bunch of movies that used this trope and guess what movie showed up 😉 DWD

screeammmmmmmmm to do that trope and then on top of it cut the best friend character out of the movie entirely but keep her top billed but have her do no press. and give the second female lead character to urself when it was supposed to be kiki. l o llllll diabolical

yes he was cast as one of the cadets supposed to be in it as much as monica is and filmed everything and they cut him out entirely. you can see him in the background of some of the scenes and they cut away from him before he speaks its really crazy
