Chris sighed in exaggeration as he laid down on the floor bringing the phone above his head. “Yes. Stripping is always good Darren. You’re very hot.” Chuckling to himself he played with the waistband of his pants as he gazed up at the camera on the phone. “You think I’m hot too now yeah? I’m getting muscles so you better like it or I need a new boyfriend which I don’t want cause I like you. No. No. No. Looooove you I mean” Chris licked his lips as he stared at what Darren was doing and asking before taking a moment to reply. “I’m not drunk. I don’t think. You can get me drunk if you want though. And nooooooo. Was all civilised with glasses”

"Oooh la la. Darren Criss is getting naked. The whole world is jealous" Chris smirked, stretching his legs out over the side of the couch. "Did you even finish work though? Or should I call Ryan and tell him to stop fucking working you. It's like super late I think" Chris nodded at Darren's request jumping off the couch, bringing the phone with him as he found both dogs curled up asleep. "God..they're so boring. Sleeping. Seeeeeeeee" he drew out, turning the camera so Darren could see them. "And I'm not a mess. Pretty sure you like this tipsy look at me. Plus I won most attractive at the party so I must be doing something right babe"

Chris couldn’t help but just keep grinning to himself as he listened to Darren. “Not drunk drunk. But there were a couple of fruity cocktails. But my face is hot and I’m giggly” Chris felt around in his satchel again,  laughing as his hands curled around the keys. “Found the keys. It’s all good” he giggled, balancing the phone on his ear and somehow managed to get inside, chucking the keys on the kitchen counter. “I wasn’t gonna go out but then I thought..I wasn’t tired and you weren’t gonna be home for a while. And then I found myself decorating baby onesies and it was cute. Did miss you though honey. Wanted to kiss you a lot. Like most of the time I was there” Taking a break to breathe Chris slumped back into the couch, still smiling as he turned facetime on. “Sooooo…are you gonna come home?”

Chris was beyond thrilled that things seemed to be falling into place. Regarding everything really. Work was good again, public relations had settled down and their relationship was better than ever. They'd both gotten into a bit of a routine and it was nice to know they could do it for so long and not get bored.

Saturday night meant work or was meant to mean work until his scene was postponed which meant a night at home alone while Darren worked.  After calling Darren to let him know what was going on he grinned at one of the invitations of his fridge. Chris often said no to a lot of events because generally just because there wasn't a lot of extra time and when he did get some it was spent with Darren. But now he was free. With no Darren. Six hours later Chris found himself happily tipsy outside their apartment block after a lift back home. After a failed search for keys, Chris chuckled to himself and speed dialed Darren. "Hey. So.. My keys have magically disappeared"
