Okay, but apart from that whole… Siuan situation, there were so many cool things in this episode? (Melindrha darkfriend reveal, Nynaeve breaking her block, balefire! (this looked so so cool!) Mat going through the doorway ter’angeral, Rand declaring himself as the Car’a’carn, Siuan’s epic speech?), but for now…

I think my favorite moment was that talk between Rand and Moiraine? Him thanking her and Moiraine tearing up? Rand acknowledging that she has been by his side through it all and actually wanting her to be at his side?

And Moiraine wishing him good luck?

That’s all so so sweet??? 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

OKAY now THE COLD OPEN IS OVER AND MY GOD, I LOVE THIS SHOW? Like in the first three minutes we got:

- ELAIDA WENT THROUGH THE DOORWAY AND THE AELFINN APPARENTLY ‘PROMISED’ HER THE AMYRLIN SEAT

- FLASHBACK TO THE DAY SIUAN WAS RAISED TO THE AMYRLIN SEAT AND THE VOTING PROCESS OF THE HALL (AND MOIRAINE AS ONE OF THE SISTERS WATCHING FROM THE BALCONY (AND PROBABLY CHEERING HER ON INTERNALLY!)

- KERENE IS BACK FOR THE FLASHBACK (I did not expect her to show up at all, but that’s such a cool cameo)

- ELAIDA IMMEDIATELY CLOCKED MOIRAINE’S AND SIUAN’S YEARNING FOR EACH OTHER.

- THE SOUNDTRACK WAS SO COOL!

- we now officially know what the Aes Sedai shawls look like and I love the design.

Yes.

She does survive. Although not in the best… emotional state?

Anyway, I can now go and eat breakfast in peace and watch it calmly later, after agonising over Moiraine’s fate for a week. 😌
