I use “daddy issues” to describe Eclipse’s complex feelings towards their Moons because it is simply the funniest and simplest way to describe that shit. What better term is there for “person partially responsible for my existence who played a significant role in my development and caused me significant amounts of trauma who I still subconsciously love and wish to be family with despite also hating and wishing they were dead and am so very resentful towards but I still crave their love and validation.” But most of them do not actually view him as a parental figure, just an estranged sibling.

I actually firmly disbelieve that the average of Eclipse would throw away a Lunar that didn’t betray them. He’s in the minority specifically because he didn’t realize his Lunar betrayed him. Not because the canon og Eclipse (lonely, full of attachment issues, did constant health checks to make sure Lunar was handling the body okay, did feel guilty even if they’d never admit it, only ever physically abused Lunar during heated arguments) doesn’t care about Lunar.

I have had the faint memory of Sköll and Leiðr heading into EC. But I don't think there's actually a climax as to how they were properly introduced. I remember bloody getting irritated because Leiðr was scared of any moon look alikes and Sköll was having to back out. But I don't actually remember EC figuring out how to get Leiðr to not be so terrified.

The teasing distracts them from getting too heated in their little makeout session. Vescor breaking away to make a joke about Infero always taking home strays, much to Infero’s grumpy pouting. Vescor also eyes Neptune and flirts, a bit more vulgar than any lines Infero said. Vapor could easily get a job at a bar or club. The smoke would be real useful for handling crowds, and there’s a perfectly good stage to use when he wants.

Vescor’s charge up to them and smooch Infero after about two minutes. Infero’s been gone for like a day for them, and Vescor both missed their husband and has been handling Infero’s work while he was gone. And also couldn’t track him. Infero, taken off guard, does the full happy routine, with the glowing, the tail wagging, and the ray spinning.

Infero is happy to visit whenever requested. Yay time manipulation bullshit. Vapor of course gets the free housing type apartment. A nice little cozy place. And is told that if he wants to and can afford one, he can grab a bigger nicer apartment. Free to look for jobs anywhere he wants, most people will hire him as long as he can do the job.
