Hey guys…. I kinda haven’t been active in this fandom because I’m distancing myself from emh 😭 lol here is why. I love emh as a piece of media but I don’t want to say I’m a fan of people if they think I should “get a better hobby than me and my friends”

I was blocked on tiktok by Evan for having a very popular photo of Evan as my profile pic, Ive never posted about emh on tiktok ever!

At first I thought they were just talking about gross fans but their is people like me they legitimately just used a profile photo and got blocked?!?!

I’m literally 15 and harmless, all I want to do is show my appreciation for cool people! So yeah :) I hope people respect that

Obviously they don’t like fandoms and the way genuinely nice fans act, that’s their opinion but I don’t want any part of it

At this point it just sounds like your tone policing lol. First of all the Vinnie thing has already been proven false multiple times, the DID situation was a lot more than Evan just "harassing someone with DID" he had an issue with someone posting using his legal first and last name while claiming Vinnie had abused him and threatning to doxx people (if i remember correctly). He asked them to stop and they refused, he had every right to be upset about that. And frankly, creating a canon last name for the CHARACTER Evan in response to that so people didn't use his legal name was a pretty mature response? Evan has the right to say get a hobby outside of him and his friends if you were actually watching and know what that tweet is reffering to. Him, Amanda, Jeff and there other friends were being harassed, catfished, stalked, and reltnetlessly tormented. They don't have to respond to that with perfect grace and emotional maturity, because, hey! The EMH crew aren't like celeberties! There normal people with lives outside of a series they made 10 years ago. There not like actors or something that have to have a 100% perfect social prescence. Honestly, if you aren't the type of person to get all up in there shit outside of the series these posts shouldn't even be offensive? Ive been into EMH sense early middle school and im 20 now. Ive been a fan for years, ive been deeply involved with the community, ive seen a lot of this stuff go down. But none of this bothers me because i *know* it doesn't apply to me. I know i think of them as normal people and i have nothing to worry about on that front, and i can only imagine how years of constant bullshit would break you down as a person. Yeah, sure, maybe they didn't word it the nicest they could have, but do they owe kindness to a group of people that seemingly will never return that? At the end of the day there just being firm with a boundry, and that's not our business and it doesn't affect us if we know were respectful. Idk! obviously I can't change anyones minds and ur gonna think what ur gonna think at the end of the day but i really dont think its that deep
