I recently completed the Short Annapurna Circuit Trek (9 days) with my friend, and it was an unforgettable adventure.
From deep valleys to high mountain passes and the stunning Tilicho Lake, every day brought something new and beautiful.
This trek is perfect for those who want a shorter version of the classic Annapurna Circuit Trek 14 Days but still want to see highlights like Tilicho Lake and Thorong La Pass (5,416m).
We made sure to get our ACAP and TIMS permits before starting.
🗓️ 12-Day Annapurna Circuit Trek with Tilicho Lake—Iterary
Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Chame Day 2: Trek from Chame to Upper Pisang Day 3: Trek to Manang (via Ghyaru for better views) Day 4: Acclimatization in Manang hike to Ice Lake or viewpoint Day 5: Trek to Siri Kharka Day 6: Trek to Tilicho Base Camp Day 7: Early hike to Tilicho Lake and back to Siri Kharka Day 8: Trek to Yak Kharka Day 9: Trek to Thorong Phedi Day 10: Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and trek to Muktinath Day 11: Drive to Tatopani and enjoy natural hot springs Day 12: Drive to Pokhara—end of trek
If you have more time, you can try the Annapurna Circuit with Nar Phu and Tilicho (17 days) for a more off-the-beaten-path experience.
This trek was a perfect mix of natural beauty, cultural experience, and personal challenge. Highly recommended!
