To say she was absolutely thrilled to be part of this event wouldn’t even be close to describing how she was actually feeling. Alma was basically glowing because of excitement, her gem necklace and the orange dress glowing just a bit brighter than they were supposed to. It was one of those social experiences she hadn’t had the pleasure to take part in before. Briefly did she wonder if she would get to meet many people; what a brilliant thought.  Pleased to have found some company at last, Alma just smiled for a moment before realizing she didn’t know what to do next. She simply had to ask. ❝ What do people actually do at these gatherings? This is my first gala, I want to fully enjoy it. ❞

good evening , if you are receiving this invitation then that means you have been formally invited to the avenger’s first annual spring into summer gala . basically a pr stunt , the avengers are opening their tower to various heroes and citizens alike ( villains , you are more than welcome to crash ^_^ ) . the night will feature dancing , music , drinks , games , and debauchery .  so really , anything is possible when you get together a bunch of superpowered goons in one space .

Calmer, more peaceful, but still hungry for souls. Alma watched the young woman standing by the dock and decided it was time to approach her, talk to her. God, how desperately she had avoided doing it. Light steps crossed the distance between the two of them and she came to stand next to her. Yet, she avoided looking at her.  ❝ I owe you an apology.
