For my Photography 1101 class we had an assignment called “Sewer Assignment” where we have to take a picture of an ordinary sewer and try to give it a creative twist to the sewer.

The photo is successful to me because of placement of the plate along with the burnt ripped sticky note, I love how the plate is hanging on the sewer with the sticky note on top, what I did to make this photo stand out was i ripped a plastic plate and sticked it to the side of the sewer and then added the sticky note on top. what I learned for this assignment was that you can find a way to make something that isn’t important and find a way to make it interesting or unique

For my Photography 1101 class we had an assignment called “Sewer Assignment” where we take a picture of a sewer but add some creativity to a boring old sewer. 

The photo is successful to me because of the way the photo was taken, your able to see the sewer in the back along with the leaves that were already there and the placement of the flatten RedBull can with the burnt ripped love you sticky note on top. How I made this ordinary sewer look amazing is I made the ripped up sticky note by ripping some pieces off and using a lighter to burn some parts off giving it that thrown away feel to the photo and for the RedBull can it was already by the sewer so I decided to incorporate it into my photo.

This is my DSL Camera for my digital photography class, I haven’t got it yet but I’m excited to try it out when it does come in.

BAD PHOTO:

I think this is a bad photo, its blurry and kinda rushed. the only thing good would probably be the tattoo being in the photo but its not fully clear and shaky, I bet my hand was shaky or I moved. my professor agrees that this is a bad photo, theirs a lot in the background that can be distracting and I totally agree. It kind of looks bland and boring so basically its just a quick rushed snapshot photo with barely any thought but it is a cool fake tattoo.

GOOD PHOTO:

i think this is a good photo because it shows how beautiful the scenery looks, I love how the sunlight reflect the water a bit in the photo adding that bit of texture. the clouds look nice and fluffy, i like how the top of the cloud is bright while the bottom is dark. i also love the trees add a cute vibe and also texture. but as a whole the photo to me is full and open and I really like that. my professor agrees that this is a good photo but the only thing that would be a mistake is the houses to the right side, it gives a more suburban feel which can be seen as boring which I agree with and my professor thinks this photo is more dramatic instead of cute and now that I look more at the photo I can see how dramatic it looks with the clouds looking almost godly kind of like a halo.
