Quick question does anyone know a fic where the bat kids find out that Bruce truly believes that they don't care about him they would be better off without him and if he were to disappear tomorrow they were just blink and move on and he accepts this as if it was 100% true because to him it is he doesn't see himself Worthy of being in their lives but he still loves them unconditionally even if they never return it and feels lucky for no matter how much time they allow him being there. Whatever time they give him he cherishes because to him it's just a matter of time when they decide they don't want to even look his way anymore and he doesn't blame them if that ever comes. The bat kids having to come to terms that their dad thinks that they don't care about him and that's if he was drop dead they would be better off because they wouldn't have to deal with him anymore. And it clicks for them when their dad gets so excited and brightens up a bit when they want to be around him that they're actually giving him the time of day because to him those are the small lights he has in his life the rare and fleeting moments of his kids actually wanted to be around him and not running off to ignore him or not be in the same room or the same house as him anymore he holds on to those moments so tight that if they were glass they would be shattered in his hand.

So this is an itch that I have found a few fic but not quite and I need something like this if anyone has an idea of a fic that is close to this Drop it Down Below in the comments so others including myself can go read them yeah thank you much

Stop dumbing down Batman and the things he can do just to give it to your favs!!!!

I saw a post some time ago and I’m pretty sure it was here on Tumblr but I was basically like:

Oh the batboys can speak all these different languages but Bruce gets confused cause he can only speak one

In what world does Batman being able to speak only one language make any sense???

Or that Bruce can’t cook to save his life?

He’s Batman, he’s going to make sure he has as many skills in his arsenal as possible. Maybe it won’t look the prettiest or taste the best but you’re damn sure it’s going to be nutritional and edible

This is also goes hand in hand with people saying that Dick can beat Bruce

Maybe this is more of a very personal opinion, but in terms of strength and strategy, there’s no fucking way. Agility yeah duh, no one beats a Grayson in agility and flexibility. But Dick taking Bruce out in one punch??

I think one thing that annoys me most with the batfam fandom is that people will pile on Bruce and shit on him for certain actions and behaviors while praising other characters for doing the same thing

Like in a lot of fanfiction they’ll have one of the batboys hide an injury and it’s everyone else’s fault for not noticing, but for Bruce it’s suddenly just another way that he’s saying he doesn’t trust them????

Like in many fics Tim will be hiding information from everyone and in the end they show him that they’re there for him.

But if Bruce hides any info… suddenly it’s an all out fucking war and he’s getting screamed at by Dick and Jason and getting the most passive aggressive treatment from Alfred.

That shit is so fucking unfair

They treat Bruce like he’s never allowed to make any mistakes. I’m not saying that they can’t be mad at the shit he does, don’t twist my words, but if they can get mad at Bruce they need to be mad at everyone else as well

Recently saw someone post a “Bruce Wayne abused his kids.” and I wanna argue the fuck out of that comment.

Mainly discovered it on Pinterest, and I’m about to go ape shit on the comment. Before I could (and there was already a long list of arguments defending Bruce), however, but research into it.

They were mainly given very vague instances of this occurring. It’s been stated that i was under effect of mind control, an Alternate Universe where Bruce was genuinely a bad person (which was considered non-canon according to some commenters).

As an additional, a lot of comics that the “Bruce Wayne abused his kids” had stated was under the 20s - 80s if i remembered correctly. Which were OLD ass comics, which has been corrected by artists. I would also assume that around this time period it was considered a struggle time of character for The Batman, in trying to figure out his character. And it was only in the early 70s (I believe, I could be wrong don’t quote me on it), that they implemented the Don’t Kill rule.

Another Thing! I put more research, and it was all bunch of vague and hit or miss shit. Like, a lot of the “examples” of the abuse was weird. Like one was “Bruce failed to Protect them,” and “hit them,” which is such a stupid statement. And I’m all honestly has begun to lose all credibility of him being a child abuser.

I don’t usually get fired up about such false comments. I easily skip it, seeing it as a troll or an inconsiderate person. However, I’ve begun to really get into Bruce Wayne. And I wanna defend my poor boy.

Some fanfic writes completely ruined it by making Bruce abusive or things of that nature. And then they have Bruce be in the wrong for having his feeling hurt that his own son doesn’t see him as his dad, like…? Of course he’s gonna be hurt?

It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth the way it’s presented.

I’m told that in a lot of comics Bruce and Damian have a really good relationship because of how similar they are. It’s fine if you don’t wanna go by the comics, we all know I don’t, but I always find it weird when someone takes a perfectly good character and makes them abusive to make another character look better in comparison.

Once again, if you like that more power to you, but personally I feel like it’s bad writing and in bad faith. I very much so avoid the tag Dick Grayson is Damian Wayne’s parent like the plague. Let Dick be an older brother! That’s all he wants!

i genuinely don't understand the demonization of bi-han or kuai liang. like legitimately, why do y'all shit on one brother like they're the reincarnation of satan himself???

both brothers have so much trauma from their childhood and have both been hurt so much by each other, i think it's so ridiculous to blame either brother fully for how their relationship has turned out in the story.

It’s short but listen-

Kuai Liang can't look at his ropes the same anymore. 

He just can't look at them without hearing your voice. Your soothing voice telling him everything will be ok and you'll take care of him as you took them out of his hands. 

He can't look at them without feeling how rough they were against his neck as you tightened it around him, causing his breathing to become shallow, only being able to take a full breath when you let them loosen. 

He can't look at them without hearing his own moans as you finally touched him but he wasn't allowed to touch you. Something about the way your fingertips traced a prominent vein on his shaft, and the way you whispered the most revolting things in his ear just stuck with him. Bi-Han:

Hold him and kiss the top of his head. He won't say a thing, but he looks forward to it.

Likes to boast about you. A lot.

Bi-Han would never settle for someone any less than what he deems perfect and once he finds his one and only, he's full of it and is absolutely boastful.

His husband is glorious and most importantly, his. The rest can cope and seethe.

Has a preference for sleeping resting his head on your chest. Why? Because after a day of demands and stress, it's where he relax. It's the best place to get his hair played with, it's soothing to hear his beloved heartbeat, it's warm.

Kuai Liang:

Unlike Bi-Han, he doesn't care that much for height. Sure he appreciates it, but height in of itself isn't what's going to win him over.

Will find enjoyment on it though. A lot of it.

Likes to be embraced in private. Hug him from behind and leave no space between the two of you. He'll gladly welcome it like you're his own personal sweater. Makes him an itsy bitsy warmer.

Accidently rubs his butt against you. Plays dumb about it.

Will use training as an excuse to climb you like a tree.

Don't get him wrong, he'll train pretty seriously because gods forbid something takes his boyfriend from him. But he likes to have some silly fun from time to time.

He's sleeping over you. During the day he seldom has time for himself, much less to spend with his man, so at least when it's time to sleep he wants to.

Since his boyfriend is bigger than him, he can sleep upon him without worrying he's going to crush him and that's exactly what he'll do.

Sorry, this is the rule.

What can he do? To him, you're the most comfortable place to sleep. Even more so when you're so kind to pass your hands on his back. Liang will find a comfortable position and he's out.

He's glad there's someone taller than him tbh. Given his Czech origin, he's not that phased by height per say, but since moving, he's often the odd one out because of it. It serves him fine for his work line and he's proud of his physique, but it's uncomfortable to be on the spotlight wherever he goes.

He's a little shit though. His boyfriend will hear EVERY tall pun and joke in existance, Tomáš is living for it.
