May I have a short senerio of Ayato walking in on his wife pinning down their son in a head-lock and their son looks up at his father saying playfully, "Dad! Help me, I'm dying!" Dramatically pretends to pass out with tongue sticking out.

“Heh, you’re really gonna let yourself get beaten by a girl?” Ayato chuckled, not only to rile up his son but, to get a reaction out of his wife. “Yours Truly would never succumb to the will of a girl, so c’mon, fight back.”

The look in his lovers eyes at his comment was priceless. He knew he might be told off in later for it, but it was totally worth it. 

“Whaddya mean, dad?” The boy inquired, as his mother carefully let him go with a kiss to his hair and a gentle pat on the head. Ayato met his sons gaze, tilting his head as he crept closer. The boy then spoke once again, “If you didn’t let mum have her way, you wouldn’t be married, right?”

Ayato flushed a light colour, complimenting his crimson locks, as he clicked his tongue and, stubbornly, folded his arms over his chest.

This time the sour look on his wife’s face faded and she, instead, smiled over at him, egging her son on, “Yes, isn’t that right, Ayato dear?” “Yeah… but that’s different!” The vampire insisted, to which both mother and son giggled. When Ayato huffed at this, he followed it with a slight smirk, enjoying this refreshing taste of cheek from them both. 

In one single blink, they missed it. Ayato, doing just as his wife had moments ago, pinned his son in a playful headlock, ruffling up his hair.

“You little brat…”

Ayato sits cross legged on the bed, leaning his chin in his and as Yui puts another band-aid on his cheek, making him frown and wince.

"You can stop now." He shifted further away, but Yui wasn't having it, she just scooted closer, taking his hand bruise covered arm in hers.

"You're a child sometimes." Yui put on her best scolding voice and frowned at her boyfriend. His head wiped back to her, his eyes wide and his cheeks flushed.

"You... what did you just say Pancake?!" Ayato got up in Yui's face, flashing his fangs at her. When they first met Yui would be scared of seeing him like this, but that was years ago. Now she knows his tactics and she's not buying it anymore.

The girl sighed, "You're reckless. Why did you get in a fight with a bunch of guys anyway?" Ayato looked away again, turning his face from her. He mumbled something into his hand, "I didn't catch that."

Ayato groaned, "They called you a slut. Said that you had to be one since you live with a bunch of guys. Told me I might as well share." Ayato's eyes flashed dangerously red, "Pissed me the fuck off. They deserved more than what they got." When Ayato spoke normally it meant he was either really angry or in a very, very good mood. And it was plain as day which one it was.

"Oh." Yui stopped for a moment. Ayato could be rough around the edges, but he's a softie underneath. Always looking out for her and surprisingly bashful at times, "So you got hurt... for me." Yui's voice was so low that even Ayato barely heard her. He cared a lot for her, despite how he might act. They've been trough a lot together and over time she learned how to see trough his tough guy act.

"They had no right." Ayato turned around to face Yui, he lifted her chin with his finger, their eyes meeting each other, "The only one who gets to have you is Yours Truly. No one else." Well seemed like he was in a better mood already. He smirked at the blush that crossed Yui's cheeks and leaned in to capture her lips with his. He gently but her lower lip, making it bleed just a bit before he licked it with his tongue. The action sent shivers down Yui's spine. Ayato smiled against her lips, trailing hot kisses down her neck.

"No. You need rest." Yui pulled on his hair to move his head away. Ayato groaned in annoyance, pouting like a little kid. He was so cute sometimes it was hard to believe.

"Fine. But when Yours Truly is well and rested you're not getting off the hook that easily." Ayato winked as he stretched his arms above his head and fell dramatically on the pillows, his arms spread out. Yui smiled and shook her head. He was such a drama queen at times. She put away the first aid kit and joined him on the bed, careful not to put pressure where his bruises were the worst. Ayato sighed contently, finally having her in his arms.

Well…from my point of view Laito is the most handsome DL character but Ayato’s features are god-tier.I believe his design is the most eye-catching one because it gives that vampire vibe,if you get what I mean xD

For example,if I saw for the first time any other DL character ,without knowing anything about the franchise,I wouldn’t have guessed that’s a vampire.Whereas,Ayato was indeed made to look “out of this world” from giving him an unnatural hair color,the biggest fangs out of everyone and those big snake eyes.

I’m not usually a fan of main/poster guys when it comes to otome games but they definitely made him a literal eye-candy(≧∀≦)
