Hey guys! So, I just realized that this blog is getting close to being a month old coming Sunday, which is really amazing to me, because it hasn’t felt that long, honestly. However, along with that, I’ve reached a wonderful milestone concerning my followers! I’m not really partial to numbers, but the fact that so many of you have stayed around, became my friends, and endured my shenanigans makes me really happy, and I wanted to do something nice to thank you all! So here goes my very first giveaway! It’s not going to be something big, and fancy, unfortunately. While I’d love to give you guys some gigantic present, I have to work with what I have! The prize will consist of a chibi drawn by me. It can be of whoever you want, whether it be your muse, or a character you really like. Of course, I have the right to decline something if I know it’s past my ability to draw, or makes me uncomfortable!

Ludger gave a light smile as he watched Elize happily skip toward the ice cream shop. A day like this was nice for a change. Teepo kept circling Elize in excitement as well. The shopping district they passed through was a bit crowded, though, and somewhat hard to navigate. Having Teepo around at times like this was good luck so Ludger could still spot her. Opening the door to the shop was refreshing. The cool gust of air on his tired body rejuvenated him a bit. Holding the door open for Elize, he walked in after her. It was bigger than he thought, but not as crowded as the streets. Tubs of ice cream were on display behind glass with names on each one. He bent down examining them all, debating what flavor he wanted. Ludger would most likely end up with the same as Elize, but there was so much to look at. There were quite a few pink ones so he figured it would take some time to choose. Calling over Elize, he asked, "So which one? Strawberry, Cherry, Raspberry..." Then he spotted it. "No this one!" Walking a few steps over he pointed at black cherry. "It's pink and the cherries look purple. It's Teepo colored...right?" Grinning, he really hoped he didn't just make a fool of himself.

He had a strong feeling that Elize would say yes to ice cream.  When her face lit up, he smiled as well.Ludger always got happy when he was able to make his friends happy. “Come on then, let’s go.”  Patting her on the shoulder, Ludger first made his way to the job board, conveniently located at the end of the walkway toward Sharil Manor.  Upon receiving his compensation, Ludger tried his best to hide his excitement and quickly pocketed the gald.

Turning to Elize, he scratched the back of his neck.  “You know, I don’t really know many shops around here despite how many times we’ve visited before.”

She would follow him over to the job board, keeping her accompanying plush held tightly in her hands. Her eyes would scan over the board, browsing potential future jobs in case she needed some extra gald, while Ludger turned in his own completed job. When he turned to her to inform her that he didn’t know much of the city, she would giggle only quietly. It wasn’t much of a surprise to her, sure he had been here a few times, but that didn’t mean he had to know exactly where everything was.

◜❀ ◞        – “ Well, you’re in luck! I know a really good ice cream shop in the shopping district. " 

She gave him a gentle smile before turning to walk a few steps in the direction that would take them to the shops, and ultimately the ice cream shop. After a few steps, she would turn her head to make sure he was following her, her eyes bright with excitement at the thought of having some ice cream with a friend she hadn’t seen in a while. It was definitely a nice change for the day.

Ludger sighed, "You're such a liar.". He proceeded to remove Julius's coat and hang it on the rack near the door. "Come on now, sit on the couch." Ludger took hold of his brother's arm, guiding the way. "Now stay here while I get the kit." For good measure, he placed Rollo on Julius's lap. Soon Ludger emerged from the bathroom with an abnormally large first aid kit, most likely due to the amount of treatments he had to administer. Walking over, Ludger picked up Rollo who was just about to get comfortable and placed him on the far end of the couch. Turning his attention back to his brother, he proceeded to unbutton his vest and shirt, gingerly placing them on the couch as well. " Now let's see here... " Ludger revealed a fully wrapped chest up to the shoulder. He frowned, "You said a few bumps and scrapes! This is why I can't trust you with your health." Upon further inspection, it seemed that "the good doctor" did a decent job with the patchwork, but done in a hurry as it was starting to unravel. Sighing, he began to snip away the gauze until it had completely fallen off Julius's body. There was a large bruise on his shoulder, scratches on his chest, and when Ludger inspected his back, a few small slash marks. Getting the kit, he soaked a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide. It looked like Julius took a quick shower before coming home, but that doesn't mean the wounds weren't disinfected. Proceeding to dab at the open wounds, he could see Julius tense. He hated seeing his brother in pain, but it was for his own good. Ludger put salve across Julius's back and taped small patches of gauze to him. Turning back to his brother's chest, it didn't seem as if he was bleeding, but he placed peroxide on the scratches as well for good measure. "Almost done..." Ludger said as he grabbed a roll and re-wrapped Julius's chest. Sighing, Ludger didn't know what to do about the bruise so he just gave his shoulder a little kiss before lightly wrapping his arms around his brother. "Feel better..."
