Rivais, uma fanfic de Monster High!

Minha contribuição para o o Desafio de Junho de 2025 no Spirit Fanfics - Amor fora do campo!

Sinopse: Cleo precisa se inscrever para o torneio de esportes de Monster High, mas é surpreendida por um adversário inesperadamente perfeito – Deuce, o seu próprio namorado!

“Queridas, eu já falei antes e vou falar mais uma vez. Não vou participar dessa palhaçada de torneio! Eu nasci para performar na torcida, não para correr atrás de bolinhas com raquetes!” Cleo caminhava de um lado para o outro no dormitório com passos pesados, indignada.

“Mas você é a única monstrinha do nosso grupo que sabe jogar tênis! Ou melhor, que sabe alguma coisa sobre tênis!” Lagoona disse, tentando acalmar a amiga.

Cleo apenas bufou, sem pensar em novos argumentos. A verdade é que a múmia estava completamente aborrecida com o Torneio Esportivo de Monster High daquele ano. Primeiro, porque Deuce, seu namorado, estava em outro time, e segundo, porque ela era uma das únicas monstrinhas de seu time que sabia jogar algum esporte - e consequentemente, teria que participar do evento em alguma modalidade.

“Se você jogar na partida de amanhã de tarde, eu prometo que vou te dar aquela bolsa dourada que você viu no shopping semana passada!” Howleen, que também era da equipe e estava com as amigas no dormitório, disse, numa tentativa de incentivar Cleo a participar.

“Ai meu Rá!” Ela deu um gritinho. Todo mundo naquele quarto sabia que Cleo tinha condições de comprar dez daquelas bolsas, mas a ideia de receber uma como recompensa a agradou de certa forma. “Tá bom, tá bom. Eu vou! Mas saibam que estou indo totalmente contra a minha vontade!”

O dia seguinte finalmente chegou, e mesmo contrariada, Cleo, preencheu a ficha de inscrição para participar da partida das 15h, contra alguém de uma das equipes rivais. Pelo que ela tinha visto, ninguém havia se inscrito para esse horário ainda, então lhe restava torcer para que permanecesse assim até a hora do jogo, para que fosse cancelado.  “Se ao menos fosse algum esporte em equipe, em que eu poderia deixar que meus colegas fizessem as coisas enquanto eu descanso…”, ela pensou, revirando os olhos.

“Cleo!” Uma voz grave, doce e familiar a tirou dos devaneios, melhorando seu humor em 200%. O dono da voz era Deuce Gorgon, o seu namorado.

“Deuce!” A múmia o envolveu o rapaz em um abraço, que foi prontamente retribuído. “Nem tenho conseguido te ver tanto ultimamente, por causa dessa pataquada de torneio!” Ela jamais perdoaria a coordenação do evento por ter sorteado os dois em grupos diferentes.

“Nem me fala, amor.” Ele deu um beijo no topo de sua cabeça. “Mas, me diga… se você detesta tanto o torneio, por que acabou de sair da tenda de inscrições?” 

“Porque as FALSAS das minhas amigas pediram que eu fizesse!” Ela brincou; afinal, suas amigas poderiam incomodá-la às vezes, mas jamais seriam falsas. “Bem, eu não queria, mas elas prometeram que me dariam aquela bolsa dourada p-e-r-f-e-i-t-a em troca caso eu participasse… então não custa tentar.” 

“Só assim para você participar de um torneio esportivo sem que fosse para ficar na torcida.” Deuce acariciou o cabelo de Cleo. 

“NEM ME FALA!” 

Os dois riram, e então Deuce se afastou.

“Agora é a minha vez de me inscrever.” O garoto medusa disse, indo em direção à tenda onde Twyla estava preenchendo as fichas dos alunos interessados em participar. Cleo assentiu, e assim que seu amado retornou, não se conteve em perguntar:

“Se inscreveu para qual esporte, amor? Porque daí estarei lá torcendo por você.”

“Na partida de tênis hoje às 15 horas.” Cleo não pôde acreditar. Ela teria escutado certo?

“Você O QUÊ?”

I'm going to say it, because I need to get it out of my heart. I hate Rochelle and I hate the Deuce/Rochelle shippe.

"But they'd be perfect, since she can look him in the eye."

Not only does Rochelle admit to liking Deuce, even though she has Garrot, who literally created a rose just for her, but she's taught her pet to STEAL things from Deuxe so she can be alone with him, never mind that Deuce has a girlfriend. What's more, when Robecca calls her out on it, she says she doesn't give a shit and will carry on.

As far as the shittiest MH characters go, she's top 1 for me.

I mean, Nefera, Toralei are horrible, but at least they're not fake.

"Oh but Rochelle only did that when Garrot was missing"

Aahhhh no, even when he comes back, she continues, you can see that in other media.

Not to mention that she's also taken an interest in Billy, Scarah's boyfriend.

I hate characters like her, who play nice but are ready to betray if they get the chance.

Then someone pairs Deuce/Rochelle as if she wouldn't lose interest in Deuce as soon as she had him, since she doesn't care about what she has, she just cares about what se can't have!

DEUCE IS TO GOOD TO ROCHELLE!!!

Okay so I saw a post on Instagram a while back about a gacha game that had monster high inspired clothes and, having never played a fashion game before, I obsessed over it for 5 weeks until I played all the available levels and hit a wall, so then I decided to start drawing the ghouls in some cute clothes from the game! (It’s called SuitU btw it’s really fun)

So here’s a wip of Cleo! I haven’t drawn in so long,, no better diva to start out with than her!🩵🐍💋

Also I started using Bluesky and that’s my tag!! I’d love to make some friends!🩵

i was listening to music when EFENDI's Cleopatra started playing and i was possesd by some kind of art spirit cause i blacked out and by the time i came to the song was playing on loop and this diva was on my screen!

My MH collection keeps growing, I now have the Cleo basic and the monster fest 🥹 My current collection is all in the colors blue, green and gold and I love it! But I'll be adding more colors to the collection soon ❤️❤️❤️
