So some time ago I stopped sewing. Why? Because I lost joy from it. And that's okay because I had some time to rest my mind and explore some other hobbies I may like.

This was a long process and a couple of breakdowns later, look at that lil guy I crocheted!

I'm so proud of how it turned out!! Here's a version without the eyes, sewing and ribbon:

It was a whole lot of work after a few tiny projects I used to learn how to use a hook correctly haha 😅

I used to dream of a peaceful life, completing my education, and getting a job, but the war has turned that dream into something impossible 💔😭. We lived through this massacre in every painful detail, and we are still in pain 😔. We were so happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in the north of Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the south of the Strip. After we fixed a small room in our destroyed house to live in and start over, unfortunately, the war returned, stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter and no source of income. We have exhausted all our savings during the war. I know that I started my campaign very late, but that’s because there is no other way to help my family 🙏. I am fully confident and hopeful that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these difficult circumstances 😔.

I know that the feeling of starting from scratch is painful and frustrating, but I hope to receive any amount for my family 🥺🙏.

I’m husband and father of two children we evacuated at the beginning of the war. but my family is still suffering inside Gaza

My family was a beautiful, cheerful family that loved life and they love each other.

We have children are make fun and they the source of happiness for home

Until one day, the sounds of explosions overtook them. Days passed, and these days were very difficult for everyone in the family. Suddenly, my father fell ill, and it was determined that he was suffering with cancer, and needed surgery outside the Gaza Strip. But, because of the situation, he was unable to leave Gaza for treatment — eventually, due to lack of medical care and after suffering with his symptoms, he died.

The money we hope to raise through this fundraiser will go towards caring for and supporting the remaining members of Mahmoud's family, in light of the loss of Mahmoud's father. The money we collect will be utilised to meet his family's needs

The money raised will go towards evacuation fees for my family of 9 members : 4 adults and 5 children. I hope everyone will help my family, and help them receive the urgent medical care they need.

I came back with another cat, this time in a smaller version. This one looks a bit better in my humble opinion and I made it a cute face! :3

I really don't know how I was supposed to take a photo of it when the fabric which I used to make it is a truly dark deep black so please bare with me. This it how it looked like before the bowtie and it's face happened so... I think it's cool.

I made it as a gift for the same special person as the doll like half a year ago. She likes black cats so I made her one. I know it's past Christmas but we didn't see eachother earlier and I wanted to surprise her as I know that our meet-ups often cause her stress (even tho we meet like twice or thrice a year (which is absolutely understandable and I get it(I stress out too(I think it's too many brackets already (I need to stop)))))

✨I'm back guysss✨

I have had a big gap between my last and latest project but I managed to start sewing again and this is my little monstrosity I made.

This is a cat (tho I won't be mad if you didn't notice) which I made just because. I forgot to take pictures of it but the person I gave it to was kind enough to send me some pics (you see them in the post)

I'm not exactly happy with it but it is still a step forward and another day using this machine.

It's old but you can do absolute wonders when you learn how to operate it.

Today is the first time ever, when I took it seriously and made a doll. I found the measurements (in which I screwed up because I used a sewing machine to do arms and legs and they turned out very thin) and template for it somewhere on the internet (maybe I'll link it down if I find it) and I made it!

I want it to be a present for someone special to me. I hope they will like it! Of course I am still learning new things and I'm trying to use the fabric from old clothes so I can give them another life instead of throwing/giving them away AND I can save up some more cash.

I'm extremely happy with it and how it turned out even if it has its defects.
