okay but like... leo thought he was responsible for his mom's death for a solid EIGHT years, and it's not like anyone told him otherwise. he literally uses his fire for the first time in years in tlh after hearing it's a CURSE. and then gaea explains shit and leo knows that gaea manipulated his mom's death, and he STILL thought it was his fault. man, the way his fire was handled after that was so dumb, leo's got all these insane skills that get ignored cause he goes all human torch and shit. did u know he has near perfect aim? he can sense and quickly disable traps? he can sense machines? like he has legit abilities from hephaestus and his own skills but it's ignored for 🔥 WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN LIKE IT IN THE FIRST PLACE???? the way his powers and guilt were handled was sooooo dumb
