i am literally writing about the duality of salt atm but was inspired by the ocean.

also, just said something to my mom while watching something, blood was dripping and i was like, "so pretty" and she was all, "i was waiting for you to say something" but added something judgy and i was like, "well, blood is life. it is beautiful." she went, "that's deep" i started laughing as i recalled the Dracula show and said, "oh my god, Dracula said that... i mean, i shared the sentiment before the show but he def said that and it's why i loved the show very quickly, because he got me". we started laughing mad hard though. but i added that blood and water make most of life up and are far more beautiful and meaningful than many see.

I personally always did this on my fandom blog for TGF because I couldn’t help myself but I’d just message the person beforehand and ask if that was okay w/them and if they’d like me to keep their name or block it out. I don’t think anyone ever cared.

No, you were very clear and well-spoken here, and i thank you for adding onto this. I have thought more on this since and think that the "androgynous" of them also is sort of showing this swap you've mentioned to some extent could definitely support your take. I see Charles as even showing more emotions and being framed as the more "feminine", Camilla being Eve but in the "original sin" way that they talk about both roles, Eve is demonized as being aligned with the devil (Henry) aka "the disruptor/the disturbed seeker outside of the acceptable" and Adam as an unintentional sort of follower into the things.

I also realized her framing them as androgynous is to show their angelicness. But in examining other aspects that are more subtle like them wearing white we can see a "light/dark" present in their symbolism, much like the pure being touched by darkness and death. Not necessarily a death in a human life but a sense of something with in them or the humanity as a whole, much like the fall bringing an absence where once was wholeness.

I think this might help explain some of my interpretation here.:

I also have been collecting more information on why i believe Henry as being the most demonized individual in the universe of tsh because apparently many people don't see that but the closest novel i can come to explain where my train of thought lies is the same that supports the more overt showing of such a character holding the "disruptors" role is "Demian" by Hermann Hesse. It's a pretty short read and is great on its own but i think there's a level of "in between/gray" stoicness feel of the longing for/connection to the old world while also reframing everything we know/questioning everything that Henry possesses, and many of my favorite characters, that are always villainized, possess.

There's also much to break down in Henry in general being the cult leader and being so stuck in his longing for a time that's passed/the old world that's actually how many cult mentalities are formed that i've gathered in my research, i just have to actually refind specific sources. I am still working on my analysis of the novel and the characters symbolism. It's just more of a side process in developing my head canons further so it's a back burner project that's going to happen in passing.

(Eve is made from the rib of Adam=sort of like the “twin of him”. Explains some of her nature too.)
