Sometimes being in a different timezone is a bit meh when it comes to the micro holidays, because unlike the elemental festivals, you don’t get a “oohh don’t waste your gathering turns yet!!” warning. So yesterday I did all my daily tasks, and hours after I finished them, the festival went live, and it felt like I “wasted” the first day because gathering, bonding, incubating - I had already done all of that, without the chance to receive the special currency.

In the end, it’s probably up to me to pay more attention to all the holidays, but sometimes I wish there was an on-site reminder for festivals. Like, either a small banner that’s like “the next (micro-) holiday starts [insert date here]”, or a little announcement/reminder on the site status or whatever.

It’s not that big of a deal, but I just think that especially since they introduced daily tasks as a way to get special currency, it’d be nicer to have a reminder to save those tasks when a holiday is about to begin, just so people who are (way) ahead of the site timezone don’t miss out as easily on these easier ways of gaining currency. It doesn’t even have to be a warning like the Joxar one before gathering on festival days, just like, a little “sign” or whatever in a corner that’s like “reminder: this festival will start today” would be enough.

↠ something a little different...in an attempt to use this tumblr more when not posting art, here are some recently finished dragons in no particular order. I have one other dragon that's almost finished but people trying to sell aberration blend in ah like it's the wild wild west. and fr knows I need it so it just never stocks in mp, so that's cool. also, I just now realized they're all male. *wheezes*
