It would be a semi sim-date (but only two people) semi-character analysis enssay of 50k words (not including the dialogue).

Would make it very deep into the psyche and at the same time i would like to see them kissing (maybe on red, pale and black feelings options).

I'm breathing and alive, and I want to revive this account after months without touch it.

I'm slowly recovering from many things that happened on March and June, July it's been better but I'm still trying hard to focus and do things. I want to draw more dirkjade, they make me so happy.

I'm not one to usually do this, but I am curious. What made you start shipping these even though one of them is canonically gay and therefore has no attraction to the opposite sex?

Thanks for asking!! The main reason I ship it is because I see an incredible chemistry between them, they just fit! Whether as romantic or platonic, there are several points where they coincide and complement each other, there are so many possibilities.

Jade is the kind of happy person but at the same time she will not hesitate to tell you when something is wrong, it is just what Dirk needs, besides she would be the only person who would not leave him alone with his shit. Dirk also wouldn’t hold his tongue when he told Jade the truths, and I think that brutal honesty is something that would help her greatly to improve her person. Jade could also be there to cheer him up every time Dirk feels miserable, just as Dirk could sit for hours listening to Jade when she gets mad at something.

Both would fit as good friends, united by science and experiments, both know about technology and robots, have a very strong scientific eye and both are very intelligent, support each other with their experiments, will see the failures in each other’s plans and they would contribute their views, so there is no doubt that they would be good lab partners.

Both are also super competitive, they don’t like losing to anyone so they would find in the other an honorable rival when it comes to wanting to prove that they are smarter than the other, I see them putting each other challenges to see who is better and putting more difficult challenges , they would be incredible rivals!

I can also imagine them enjoying each other’s company but each one in their own activities, I can imagine Jade accompanying Dirk in his projects but doing other thing, sometimes starting conversations to make him feel not lonely and put his feet on the ground again, both would know that they should not push others so much because they grew up isolated from others, and they know very well that doing things alone is not synonymous with something bad.

If we refer to something more NSFW I feel that their rivalry of seeing who is better would come into play, although they would also go for something more intimate but I am not sure, and I think that both would see sex as one more activity, without commitments or something special.

I can also imagine them enjoying furry shows, Jade watching MLP with Dirk as they discuss which pony is better; Jade and Hal becoming friends; maybe putting together a robot dog, the possibilities between these two are many!

In the end I don’t feel there is a way to describe what their relationship would be called, friends? lovers? rivals? all in one? I don’t know, I just think they fit perfectly. I think this is very long and I could go on for hours but I am saving my ideas for more art and maybe fanfics! I hope this answered your question or at least helped you see the way I see them!
