we were talking about the criminalization of homosexuality in class and my professor (who as far as i know isn't in any way queer) said something i quite enjoyed in that. well the exchange was more or less this: a student asked a question (doesn't really matter what exactly just know that i was rolling my eyes So hard internally) that i was and the prof looked at the student and was like (i'm paraphrasing here this conversation was not in english) Do you have any queer friends? and the student went Uhhhh in a manner that made it clear the answer was probably no and the prof said Actually statistically speaking you most likely do. If I had to divide this room into two groups the way to do it would not be "people with queer friends" and "people without queer friends" it would be "people whose queer friends are out to them" and "people whose queer friends aren't". And if you're in the latter category you should consider why that is--if maybe your behavior is indicating to the queer people around you that you're not safe to come out to. to come back to your question if you really want to know about queerness there's a very simple way of doing that: you make yourself a person queer people feel comfortable talking to about their experiences and then you fucking listen to them when they do (the fuck is not paraphrased) (there was a fuck involved) (frankly king shit)

So I've been playing Pokémon TCG Pocket recently because a bunce of my friends play (I think TCGLive is more fun, but the UI sucks and none of my friends play) and for shits and giggles I built what I lovingly call The All Cats deck in opposition to my buddy's All Dog deck.

But it actually kicks more ass than I thought it would.

So I want y'all to know that if you see The All Cats, I definitely said Meowdy unironically at the start of the match and do a silly little Nyahaha! on occasion during the match.

Pshh. That's some loser behavior. Did you know having a library card gives you access to free online learning resources?

I'm using my library to avoid paying like $100 on a language learning app. (I've tried most of the free ones, some of my favorites include ClozeMaster, Busuu, Babbel, and Memrise. Duolingo has been one of the worst for me because it doesn't explain conjugations or sentence structure).

So far my favorite has been like... mixing a combination of resources because they all have their pros and cons.

Don't want to read a book? That's fine. Learn a skill or some shit. Don't got time for a skill? They got fucking movies. I could watch Spirited Away. Dude my library gives me free access to an app that teaches me to paint and knit and shit. I could find a new hobby here.

Dude... I just found out I could access LinkedIn Learning for free with this shit! I could learn Python!
