"Nothin', ain't nothin' wrong. Just, 'm real happy ya seem okay!" Caiyah pulled from the embrace enough to pat their shoulder. "Did ya, uh, sleep okay, at least?"
Gotta. Hug. Friends.
Where. Is. Papyrus?
Caiyah paced circles in the darkness, only just remembering she had a new flashlight. Clicking it one, she continued to seek out her smaller friend. She hopes Papyrus is well. She's gotta hug Papyrus friend.

"Um," Caiyah glanced back at Grey and reached over to pat their shoulder. "Um, if the visit lasts so long, we would appretiate the beds," Caiyah moved that hand to tugged at her hair with a small, smile. "if you don't mind, I mean?"
Another quiet day in Hometown. Sun shining on crisp fall leaves, the bunker to the South of town was as dead as a doornail.
Until suddenly it wasn't.
Two kids appeared out of nowhere. One was a normal looking human... But blue. The other was a grey lizard monster. Both were fast asleep. @discardedkindness

"Do you two have no relatives to stay with? There are extra beds here, you are welcome to stay." Father Alvin offered, alarmed and concerned two young children were visiting town alone.

"There is the diner, children." Father Alvin points on the map and then in the direction of the diner. "Just follow along this road and you may reach your destination."
"Thank ya mighty kindly," Caiyah said as she peered closely at the open map.

Caiyah glanced back at Grey and felt her chest tighten. She looked back to the tall monster and smiled awkwardly. "Um! We are visitin' for a while 'n ain't familiar yet with where thin's are."
It wasn't exactly at lie, so that's okay, right?
"Is that so? Would you like a map of Hometown? I can point out where the diner is. Wait right here, I will be but a moment." Father Alvin guestured for them to stay put as he went back inside for said map.
"Oh thank goodness, that seemed to work," Caiyah sighed heavily in relief and looked back to Grey. "Ya doin' alright back there, hun?"

Caiyah tensed when the taller person amswered the door, shifted uncomfortably as she stood between him and Grey.
"Are you children lost?" Father Alvin asks with a gentle look of concern.
"Oh, um!" Caiyah sounded, and was stuck with the problem of should she lie or not? They were very much not from around here, and she just wanted to enjoy this with Grey before whatever brought them here may or may not take them back. But she wasn't a liar, "Aaah."

Caiyah nodded in agreement and raised her free hand to knock. When she hit her fist against the surface, it was so much louder than she thought it would be. She expected it to be quieter, hollower, less *there* like those building boxes at that clutter yard place where she first met Grey.
Caiyah shook her head, and tried knocking again. She was ready for the sound, but not really for the footsteps behind it.
A taller monster, a green turtle with pink hair and a blue robe answered the door. He looked at the children with a kind smile.
"What a pleasent surprise. I, Father Alvin, implore you. If either of you two have anything weighing on your mind, please, speak." The turtle monster said with hands politely folded before him.

"It's a, it's a. . . um,. . .hmm," Caiyah sounded and just kind of stopped as she wasn't sure how she knew this was called a town. "Um. . . place that a lot of folks live, I think."
