disabled people are worth the extra effort it takes to accommodate them. it's worth going the longer route together that's wheelchair accessible. it's worth the time and effort to research places to eat that work with specific allergies or food intolerances. and it's worth the price if those places or that food is more expensive. it's worth going further to buy something gluten-free or nut free or dairy free for your party or get together. it's worth adding extra travel time, or planning an overnight stay instead of a day trip. it's worth learning how to administer medication for people who need it. it's worth learning how to call ahead to check if somewhere is accessible. it's worth the whole friend group going to the film screening with captions even if only 1 person needs it. disability often means having to do more work, more planning, take up more space, more money, more time. it's false to say it's as easy as having an abled companion, but that effort is worth taking. it's not wasted because it's all spent in favour of a disabled person, and that's always worthwhile

Kitten, Daddy’s gonna be real with you—he’s tired. Tired of the soul-numbing grind and the slow erosion of his humanity beneath the blood-slick gears of late-stage capitalism

I've been seeing a lot of posts about piracy lately and in light of this i do need to say something because I've been seeing a lot of misinformation.
anti-viruses, vpns, ad-blockers- none of these are going to help you here.
the first thing you're going to need is a good solid boat (preferably oak wood). you will also want some cannons and a plank depending on the sort of shenanigans you plan on getting into.
Also! Not once have i seen any of you talking about the importance of citrus fruits and vitamin C. antivirus doesn't prevent scurvy. come on you should know this by now.
this sort of misinformation is wildly dangerous and irresponsible.

If the right way is too hard, fuck it. Do it the wrong way.
Folding clothes keeps you from getting the laundry done? Stop folding clothes. Put a basket in your room and throw your unfolded clean stuff into it right out of the dryer, it's fine.
Rinsing dishes off keeps you from loading the dishwasher? Load them dirty and run it twice.
Chopping onions keeps you from making yourself dinner? Buy the freezer bags of chopped onions.
You forget to take your meds and don't want to get out of bed to get them? Start putting them next to the bed.
Can't keep up with the dishes? Get paper plates. Worried about environment impact? Order biodegradable ones online if your local store doesn't have one.
Make the task easier. Put things where you use them instead of where they "go." Eliminate the steps that keep you from finishing the task. Eliminate the task that is stressing you out.
Do it the "wrong" way. It's literally fine.

the "trans men pass easier" idea is so weird to me, because on the surface i can kind of see how it stems from the way that misogyny suggests that masculine signifiers are "neutral" or "default" and feminine signifiers are something that's added on. (oversimplifying, but ykwim)
it makes sense how someone struggling with how many of those feminine signifiers you have to have to be perceived as Feminine Enough would think it would be easier to just pare down rather than building up.
...what that doesn't take into account, though, is just how many things can be "feminine signifiers." height, voice, eyebrows, jaw, chin, throat, shoulders, chest, hips, gait, hands, clothes...
and as much as femininity is denied to those who aren't feminine enough, it's enforced on those who have any sign of it.
which... seems pretty self-explanatory, given that homophobia exists, but i guess not. understanding bigotry as Societal Forces and not Individual Actions Against Specific Identities is one of the major sticking points in this whole discourse... :/
you think it'd be easy to parse but some people go out of their way to misunderstand it and take it in bad faith. thank you for this ask, i really appreciate you. you said this better than i could have. trans men don't pass easier.
