for you; AN OC CHALLENGE

I want you to come up with a concept for a character who is a god like entity. It can be greek mythology, norse mythology, an eldritch god or even something completly out of the blue.

Answer then some of these questions about your god:

- What is their name?

- What gender are they?

- What purpose do they embody?

- Are they kind, evil or neutral?

- Do they like mortals?

- What is their favourite food?

- What do they do on a Saturday evening?

- Would the gouverment monitor them?

Name: "Davat"

2. They don't have a specific gender since they take the form of something or someone that makes their job as unnoticeable as possible. They will turn into an old wise man to give advice, into a crow to give someone something shiny, into Santa to give a child a present, into a mysterious cloaked stranger to give you something and then vanish etc.. The only attribute that stays constant between all of Davats iterations is a single scar on the left eye (often hidden in shadow or under glasses)

3. Their only purpose is to give. They will never take, nor do they require anything. Whenever someone needs something, whether that would be hope, directions, a gift for a friend or just some money to get by, Davat fulfills their need quietly and disappears just before anyone asks any questions.

4. Davat is kind. Their giving nature came from an interaction with a little girl a long time ago. Davat wandered around a small town for a long time seeking purpose to their boundless existence. On their trip a little young girl ran up to them and gave them a painted Easter egg. Without any word she smiled and ran away. That single act of unexpected kindness, even if little, warmed Davats heart and gave them a realization. From that point on Davat realized their true purpose. Any and all giving they do, they do to follow the example the little innocent girl has set a long long time ago.

5. They love mortals and are always ready to help any and all who need aid.

7. They support in any way the can, be it via donating to artists, feeding the ducks, giving advice to those at their lowest point etc…

8. Local government wouldn't try to do anything about them. Nothing bad about someone who does nothing except help. The police respect Davat as much as any other citizen would. The global government on the other hand has been trying to track down Davat ever since they got wind of their actions, mostly due to their interest as to where Davat gets all their never ending handouts from. Its almost as if all that Davat gives appears out of thin air.
