This is a silly question I should wait until halloween to ask but its so far away and I'm really curious to hear your thoughts. Do you believe houses can be haunted? Either by spirits or by a traumatic event that somehow leaves an impression of itself in the home that others might pick up on later? Personally, I do believe both situations can happen but that they're very rare and most "hauntings" have a reasonable, physical explanation. How about you?
Yeah absolutely. I definitely believe in ~energy~ and intentions and trauma taking up space in a physical location, especially houses! There are some houses I go in that look totally normal and nice and fresh but I get a terrible feeling of dread and know something bad happened there, and others that feel neutral/normal.

hey! idk if you still are doing design posts, but i figured i'd try....i like to keep things minimal and i love natural light and mid century modern design, but i feel like my space is becoming a little too much white-on-white urban outfitters catalogue for my taste. i'd love to add a bit of a witchier vibe to my room without making things too dark and cluttered. if u have any advice that would be awesome! if not, i love ur content and hope u have a great day!
I recommend adding TEXTURE and WEIRD ART!!! I think that can add a lot of witchy vibes if done right.
These mid century bird sculptures are weird as hell, kinda witchy, but still pretty 1950s!
This atomic era baby face wall hanging is creepy and interesting!
I’ve been pining after this Jonathan Adler candle forever. It can be used as a decor piece or bowl when you’re done with the candle!
A large knit blanket would look nice too! You can DIY or buy one here for a decent price.
I love these globe lamps - very MCM but also witchy because it kind of looks like a crystal ball. Cheap too??
I think adding black or dark colors would help too - get a black leather chair, or black bedspread, or paint an accent wall black?
some inspo:
