In the semi-recently opened DuckTales World Showcase Adventure at Epcot, you can find references to Kim Possible and Perry the Platypus. These are, of course, call backs to previous incarnations of the World Showcase Adventure!

These audio animatronic puffins called Maelstrom their home until 2014, when it closed to make way for Frozen Ever After. Luckily for them, they survived the transition and still are living happy lives in the finale of the new Norwegian attraction!

When Monsters Inc Laugh Floor opened in 2007, it was the first attraction in that location to not be a Circle-Vision 360 show! America the Beautiful, Magic Carpet Round the World, American Journeys, and The Timekeeper all utilized the circular room before the monsters moved in!

Hidden among the other relics outside of Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities at Disney's Hollywood Studios is this stone foot. This foot originally was a part of one of the large Anubis statues found on The Great Movie Ride!

One of the scenes on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at The Magic Kingdom is an intersection between the Red and Blue transport lines. If you look closely you may notice that the transport rocket for the Red line is a repainted rocket from Disneyland's Rocket Jets! It is unclear if this is a repurposed piece of Disneyland history, or a replica. The scene in question was added to WDW in 1995, and Disneyland's Rocket Jets didn't close until 1998. However, old Rocket Jets were used at DL in the gift shop for Rocket Rods and still remain today! Interestingly, the whole junction scene is a remnant of Tomorrowland's theming from 1994 until around 2009. "New Tomorrowland" was themed to be the headquarters for the League of Planets, with the PeopleMover having been rethemed to be public transport for the futuristic city!

At The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland, you can find what happened to Rosita! Near her perch, you'll find a little hat and a cane. These items are references to Juan the Barker Bird, who used to invite people to come see The Enchanted Tiki Room at Disneyland!

This Fantasyland theater has quite a bit of history behind it! Originally opening as The Mickey Mouse Revue, it became Magic Journeys in 1987, then Legend of the Lion King in 1994, and finally Mickey's PhilharMagic in 2003! The new tagline even references the original attraction!

From late 1998 until 2012, you could find a grey Chevrolet Series 490 in the queue for the original Test Track. This car was originally featured in the airshow scene of World of Motion! Unfortunately, the historic car was removed during Test Track's major refurbishment in 2012.

On Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters at Disneyland, you can find cutouts of a sun and a moon behind and above you when you exit the light tunnel. These cutouts come straight from "Circle-Vision 360". which operated at Disneyland from opening day until September 1997! The cutouts were a part of an elaborate preshow diorama created when Delta began sponsoring the attraction in 1989! When Delta dropped their sponsorship on January 1st 1996 the dioramas were removed, except for the sign which instead removed the mention of Delta's sponsorship. Starting on May 22nd 1998, the theater was used as a part of the queue for Rocket Rods, where it played a looping preshow featuring various forms of transportation. However, Rocket Rods would not last long, and the attraction closed officially on April 28th, 2001 On March 7th, 2005 Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters opened, replacing Rocket Rod's queue and subsequently the old "Circle-Vision 360" theater. The sun and moon are located at the red circle, which fittingly places them in the center of the original theater. The art style used for the various cutouts is quite reminiscent of Delta Dreamflight's first scene at The Magic Kingdom. Both attractions gained and lost their Delta sponsorships at the same time as well. Ironically, both were eventually replaced by Buzz Lightyear attractions!

Ever wondered why Pop Century only covers the first half of the 20th century? The earlier half of the buildings, known as The Golden Years, began construction before being abandoned due to low tourism following 9/11. They were eventually finished as The Art of Animation resort!
