Brishti-Subinoy headcanon 28/?

If Brishti and Subinoy are in a tense environment, do they ever step in and diffuse the tension? What methods do they apply?

Subinoy, when it comes to situations where he wants to diffuse the tension ― inadvertently making these scenarios where Bilu or Brishti are involved and aggravated, does so by first establishing physical contact. Touch. A hand on their shoulder, holding their hands, entwining their fingers, squeezing (very lightly) the back of their neck, pressing his forehead against theirs, and so on. His first concern is to assure them that he is there, present, and willing to help, even if he is the one antagonizing them. However, if it is between Bilu and Subinoy, she will be taking an active interest ― if it is Bilu's fault, she will try to convince Subinoy, and if it is his fault, she will amp up the tension like a supportive mother. If the situation is about the two of them, her and Subinoy, then obviously it will get a lot worse before she runs out of steam and leaves ― later, once she is calm, she will take the necessary measures, apologize if it fits, and fix the problem.
