Yeah. Don’t be surprised, i think we all knew someone was gonna do this eventually. I don’t think anyone in this fandom has done this yet, so let’s go!!
Titan as Collin Creevey, that one kid who follows Harry around with a camera to try interviewing/becoming friends with him. In this AU, Earth’s Harry. Theia and Proto-Earth are James and Lilly, Mars is Ron and Venus is Hermione 💀👍 Phobos and Deimos are Fred and George because.. who else could they be. Jupiter’s Dumbledore and Hades/Planet X is Voldemort.
Im still figuring stuff out, but this is fun so far! The reason I didn’t make Titan in Slytherin is because him being in Gryffindor fits more. Your house in Hogwarts is based off your personality, not what colors look best on you.

I’ve been looking into more about the future of our solar system once the Sun turns into a red giant and there’s a really interesting theory about Titan and Saturn once’s his orbit become the habitable zone!
Titan is slowly moving away from Saturn like Luna is with us and their both incredibly important to their planet’s axis, once Titan gets farther away Saturn will most likely tip over like Uranus and could eject Titan from the solar system all together! Scientists aren’t too sure what’s going to happen with the rest of Saturn’s moons after this happens but it’s possible they are also going to get eject since Saturn tipping over with change his gravitational pull and their orbits could change and or become unstable. (At lest for those who didn’t break apart due to the rising temperatures)
So in short Titan is integral to Saturn’s stability and in turn the rest of Saturn’s moons as well, which could be a cool thing to look into for their relationship, Saturn is so reliant on Titan for everything, his the closest and biggest moon of Saturn so he carries a lot of the emotional toll and responsibilities that the other don’t, they aren’t really needed as much as Titan for Saturn’s well being and stability which has caused a lot of problems between Titan and basically everyone else.
I think it could be cool to explore this more for my story purposes, I’ve already started a few stories that I haven’t gotten around to finishing with my semester ending soon, but I can give a sneak peek ma haha.
This ain’t apart of the theory and more of my own personal headcannon but I like to think Saturn used to dress Titan up like a little doll, most in sweater vests, button-up shirts and nice pants, kinda like a preppy kid would wear. It was basically everything Titan is not, he wasn’t fancy, he hates tight fitting pants but Saturn loves all those things on him and won’t take no as an answer.
Titan was kinda seen as “the perfect moon that everyone should become!” The constant side comments of how well behaved and responsible Titan is, breed resentment in the other moons, even if they never meet him beforehand.
It took up until the moon revolution for him to finally break down those wall and began to talk to them, he was able to share his experiences and how he feels about Saturn in general with the other moons. I really like to think that the moon revolution was more than just a fight against their planets it help bring all the moons together for the first time! Even with moons who share a planet, they never really took the change to get to know each other without the constant pressure of being around their planets, who even if they don’t mean too can be very intimidating with their large size.
During this time some of the female moons like Dion, Rhea and maybe Europe (because let me honestly that woman is just bagging to do a make over on someone lol) helped him find his own style and feel more comfortable about himself :)
I’ve finished a drawing for Titan’s marks but didn’t really like how it turned out but it’ll help explain what I mean!
Texts
Left drawing
-First time sense Planet X’s eject his shown his ears
-Snowflake from Saturn as an apology for breaking the one X gave him
Smaller drawings ( warning! I’m bad at directions)
-When he was Planet X’s moon
-Black and dark blue
-Erebus name on his left arm
As Saturn’s moon
-Saturn’s name on his right leg
-hides his tail even now
-hides his ears
-colours yellow, gold and white
Right bigger drawing
- Ribbons-> yellow is Saturns and White is Chysailis’
I didn’t add this but the earrings in the left drawing and the back view are once’s that Planet X gave to his moon, but during the moon revolution Ganymede gave Titan his, since Saturn destroyed his own out of guilt.
I’m going to do a better version of this later- v -
This is mostly just for fun, idk how accurate this is but it could be great for storytelling:)
Thank you for reading all my random rambling haha more to come!

I know you normaly do ship requests but i'd like to ask if you could do size accurate major moons? :3 Like accurate to the sizes they are in real life
I CAN DO YA BETTER- All the moons of the solar system (includin the galilean moons ofc.. im a sucker for the gang uvu")
I thought about adding Phobos and Deimos to this and I was like "no way, they're specks of dots" but a friend of mine (who never watched Solarballs) convinced me to add them so I did uvu"
as for their human sizes (if you're wondering about that) THAT i may work on it in the future)

There has been a lot of people talking about how they despise that the flashback versions of the characters are the same as they are at the start of the show; I think this idea of this being bad is mainly made due to a bigger fandom issue of fandom literacy and understanding shows at a whole.
Solarballs has a number of themes they explore during the course of the show. The theme of Chaos vs Order (The theme that neither can exist without the other) is mostly explored during the flashbacks of the show with it showing up every now and again after in the timeline. The theme of morality (The theme that no one is purely good or evil) is constantly shown to us with every character who has more than two character traits.
But the theme that I believe is causing the most problems with the fandom is Solarballs’ main theme, the idea of Change. Specifically, the show is asking the question, can people truly change for the better?
This theme is most prominent during the Moon Revolution Arc, where this theme is the reason why the war had started in the first place. It was a battle of if the planets, specifically Earth, can change to accept and respect the moons. Ganymede and Europa during the entire arc represented the idea that no one could truly change, that they will always stay the same. And that the only way any change could happen was if they were changed to be worse. For the planets to instead fear them. Luna, however, represented the idea that people can truly change. He believed that, no matter who you were, everyone has the chance to be better if they tried. And it is through that belief, that he was proven right.
It is seen as a strange occurrence to the moons (especially Titan) when they learn that Earth had truly changed. So much that most of the moons believe Europa when she tells them that the Earth hadn’t changed at all.
I’m surprised no one has ever talked about how quickly Europa was able to convince a good few hundred moons into believing the change in character in front of them wasn’t actually real and the Earth wasn’t actually sorry for his actions. She completely ignores the actions Earth does in front of them all and uses evidence in the past to prove how he ‘actually’ thinks of them. The famous quote “Moons should know their place” is constantly seen as the final proof of this claim.
And that’s not the only time this debate appears. It also appears during the Planet X arc with Planet X believing that no one, this time the argument is with Jupiter, can change and the only way to have true change is through violence, while characters like Jupiter and even Ganymede take on the side that people can change. This causes X’s arc to be about learning to let go of the past and accepting that people can actually change for the better.
But the question remains, why does almost everyone believe that change is impossible? We know why Luna knows it’s possible, he’s seen it with his brother. But for the others? Why would they believe that people cannot change?
That explanation is shown during the flashbacks. Every character we see during though episodes are very similar to how we see them in the normal episodes, minus some characters, where their personality is worse in the normal episodes (The Sun, Ceres and Triton to an extent). And the one time a character changes for the better, Proto, he quickly dies due to that change. If Proto hadn’t changed to being more accepting of Theia’s ideas around life and had stayed antagonising her for it, both of them would still be alive.
Their death is portrayed by the other characters as a punishment for trying to change the status quo. That their death was because the others tried to change for the better and make the solar system better through that change.
The flashback episodes are a central part of the main theme, as it provides backstory as to why so many of the celestial objects believe that change isn’t real, and I wish more people could understand this very important part of Solarballs' story.
But then again, no one ever gives Solarballs credit for any clever ideas it shows, which is an entirely different discussion that I believe we need to have as a fandom.
#solarballs#discussion#but serious#why are people so insistent that any interesting or clever idea that is shown in the show is purely accidental?

// MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE MOST RECENT EPISODE
Why I’m disappointed in the Uranus & Neptune convo in The Earth’s Core, Part 3
this is my **opinion**
I want to start by saying that a) no I don’t hate Neptune and b) I think Neptune and Uranus reconciling is GOOD!
I’m just disappointed af in how it happened!!
For one, it almost feels like Neptune is literally just saying Uranus feels bad because his attitude about it isn’t good enough? It feels like telling a bullying victim that it’s because he’s reacting…? Like it’s his fault?
He’s not being genuinely supportive it seems like he’s literally just bulldozing Uranus’s feelings and saying move on! get a better attitude! laugh about it too! without actually digging into why Uranus doesn’t like it and trying to understand That… which isn’t what I expected from Neptune. If they’re really best friends, why isn’t he trying to understand/empathize?
Saying “just change your perspective” is not supportive and doesn’t HELP either when this is something Uranus has dealt with for billions of years? Neptune might cope with it that way, but he and Uranus are NOT THE SAME PERSON and they should not be expected to deal with it the same way. If Uranus wants the jokes to stop completely they should STOP! This is the solar system he’s lived in for 4.5 billion years why is that so hard to understand?? Why are they acting like the jokes are okay and it’s URANUS who needs to change???
And he started it out by essentially saying “everyone has problems right now you’re not special” which is… an interesting method… and sure everyone else might also have problems but is it really important to point that out when he already feels overlooked and like an afterthought?? It feels like an excuse more than anything, because it’s like… pushing aside how Uranus feels?? Which, again, is not what I expected from Neptune.
Neptune calling him his best friend at that point is funny because what friend treats an emotional situation like it’s such a flippant thing? What kind of friend ignores the core problem and acts like the way he’d deal with it is the only healthy way?? Like Uranus HAS to become okay with the jokes and that’s the only option…
OR, guess what, or they could *stop* saying them?? And if it’s a case of Neptune knowing the rest of the Solar System won’t, then LET him leave without any sort of mental games?! What’s the use in staying somewhere that doesn’t respect you?
And it doesn’t help that it goes from Neptune dismissing his feelings to Uranus doing an abrupt 180 heel-turn (about the name Caelus, about everyone making his name a constant joke) without any warning or indication of it. (It literally ends the first part of the scene before on a random line from Neptune where he said “who cares?” WHEN IT’S OBVIOUS THAT URANUS HAS CARED ABOUT IT?????? THIS WHOLE TIME?)
It feels like this is just Neptune using humor for everything (which he's done BEFORE) in a way that doesn’t fit with what Uranus needs (it’s already been shown that he doesn’t react well to making jokes of it, i.e. the Battle of Planet X episodes and how Neptune tried to confront him in those), AND rather than actually following the characters they’ve developed and showing that it doesn’t work and that Uranus needs some other method of comfort, they twisted URANUS’s character to fit it!! They changed his character so that Neptune’s way of confronting him would work! That is so weird!! And off-putting! I suppose if you look at it from the start and realize that Neptune has never tried to get anyone else to stop the Ur-anus jokes (the Early Solar System episodes) that makes sense, but it makes their friendship just so shallow because why isn’t he when it’s clear Uranus doesn’t like it?
I think that Neptune affirming that he would follow Uranus away from the Solar System and that he’s his best friend and he wouldn’t forget him are GOOD THINGS, and they fit his character, but sandwiched with everything else in this scene, it honestly makes very little sense to me because he’s *not* acting like it! He’s acting like Uranus’s actual issues are trivial and solved with a simple attitude switch when it’s not that SIMPLE!! I’d understand this more if they were trying to show that Uranus and Neptune are incompatible friends in how they prefer to handle things and need to work to actually maintain a friendship, but they very obviously aren’t!! Neptune is fine with accepting the bad to a degree that’s almost impossible! Uranus obviously isn’t? So why are they twisting his personality so he does?
It feels like there should be more TALKING in between, but they just skipped straight to the resolution without building anything else between! No other talking other than the first, unless they’re trying to make us think Uranus and Neptune talked more when we didn’t see?? No matter how long they may have been traveling, it makes NO SENSE for him to have changed his mind that quickly! He’s disliked his name for BILLIONS of years. That’s impossibly long for us to comprehend!!! It feels frankly IMPOSSIBLE that he’d change his mind so quickly.
Not to mention this comes AFTER the episode where he realized just how little Jupiter knew about him (him only being able to spout scientific facts) despite the fact that he’d tried to be friends with him and Saturn for seemingly billions of years? Uranus is really *that* emotionally stable to immediately start joking about it? Because he’s dealt with the pain of his name being made fun of (by everyone!) for BILLIONS of years, but one conversation with Neptune where he dismissed his feelings and said *he’d* feel fine and dandy about it if he had the name, and Uranus is suddenly a-okay with it all? *And* not only okay with it, but making multiple jokes about it on his own (not just his name, but his smell, which he’s ALREADY been shown to heavily dislike and hate talking about?) and laughing at Neptune’s jokes? Out of NOWHERE?
It almost feels like he's just shoved himself too far in the opposite direction in an attempt to just forget all the hurt that they inspired before. (Which people do!)
And NO I’m not saying Uranus can’t ever become okay with the jokes about his name (though I think from what we saw of his character before this it was *highly* unlikely), nor am I saying that it’s wrong of him to do so, I’m saying that this feels like something that would come an entire season’s worth of character development later! It feels like it should take more time! But it’s all forced in ONE SCENE!! One scene that’s already split in half by the other plotlines in this episode! It’s like they wanted to skip straight to a Uranus who’s moved past his problems but they didn’t want to do the WORK or the character development to get there, so they shoved it all into one conversation that makes no sense!
Also, they didn’t bring X up at all (other than Neptune saying that’s who he was trying to find) despite the fact that he was the final blow to Uranus and Neptune’s friendship (at least on Uranus's side) and was the catalyst for Uranus LEAVING AT ALL!! I’m not saying Uranus needed to start preaching about him, I’m saying that he should have been BROUGHT UP?! Ignoring that completely makes their reconciliation feel incomplete, because you’re ignoring a huge piece of HOW they fell apart! (At least for Uranus, again, because as far as we know Neptune never felt like Uranus was anything but his best friend!) How was X not brought up at all? Uranus didn’t even mention that he was giving up on finding him, he just happily started making jokes about himself?? And then they just turn around and start heading back to the Solar System without any sort of additional discussion? Uranus gives up just like that without any kind of mention of his reason for leaving? When his name wasn’t even the ONLY ISSUE HERE????
I’m just so freaking disappointed in this but at the same time i guess it's what i expect from SolarBalls at this point… hurried resolutions in which the actual problem is completely glossed over and ignored.
Note that is my opinion and that you can disagree with me, but this entire interaction has just left a bad taste in my mouth… so that’s why I’m very disappointed with how it went (to say nothing of the fact that it was a very short set of scenes sandwiched in between other plotlines rather than the standalone episode/arc it deserved). You don’t have to agree with every point, you don’t have to agree with me, but this is how I feel about it 😊
#solarballs#spoilers#sorry for the yapping#this has just left a bad taste in my mouth since the moment i got spoiled and realized it 😭#episode spoilers#idc abt the rest of the episode tbh#im getting increasingly disappointed in this show with each episode#highkey feels like they ruined uranus's character with this#im not writing him any different than i already do

"Be Honest" A short ship comic about Trillistio!
The whole summary is basically Io going to Ganymede for advice on how to handle his situation with Triton and Callisto so Ganymede gave the most simplified answer: to just be honest with them!
The whole process from scriptwriting to drawing took genuinely 4 days since I also had to do some other stuff such as work n life! Thanks for the folks who got here and checking it out all the sneak peeks!!
