Theia symbolises hope, the light in the dark, the water-like flow of life. Proto-Earth is basically the opposite of her, yet both are needed to create something the universe hasn't seen before.

SB Storyboard (+ scene rewrite)

The Earth is LEAVING?! - Part 1, but I remade the scene with Luna and Mars in form of a Storyboard.

I changed the dialogue a bit in order to show Mars regretting not listening to Earth and wanting to apologise to him, thus he came to Earth's orbit in the first place. Upon arriving, he only finds Luna who was sorrowing about not being able to play with everyone else which was an important event for him. After talking to Mars, Luna slowly realises Earth's absence and remembers that Earth seemingly was struggling this whole time. Together, Mars and Luna decide to circle Earth's orbit hoping to find him.

This is really not the best rewrite, but I wanted to practice storyboarding with this - or actually, this is more a "visual storybook", which can be used when finalising a script by showing how the dialogue, the actions, the scene changes etc. would possibly look like.

I really like how you draw, and your process. Would you mind sharing your studies? Its alright if you don't want to. I was thinking of the way you study might be helpful to me and other people too.

Also, how do you draw so fast 😭 I feel like every time i open your blog, there's something new each time 😭😭

I don’t tend to do this often but, a way that I study transformers is that I collect a buncha references of said character and then sketch certain bits and parts of them by themselves one at a time, especially if you’re not used to or don’t completely get the part you’re trying to do (for Sdw here, it was mostly the top of his deck and his torso that I struggled with) ; it doesn’t really matter if it’s pretty or not, I tend to treat it more like an exercise so that I can get the muscle memory and memorize the generic shapes of whatever (also, use certain body parts to measure other body parts, like this thing may be as long as this other thing usually, it tends to keep a form of consistency with the anatomy) 🤔 but I hope this method helps

And as for how I draw so fast; it’s mostly the muscle memory and repetition, learning these characters over time helps you learn to draw faster, I had been taught by my teachers a long time ago to try drawing at least one thing a day no matter how small it is (even a doodle with suffice); I’ve been doing it for years, for me I think it really helps! Usually, I like to let myself have one or two days a week where I slack off on drawing so that I don’t overdo myself; but sometimes even on those days I still doodle a little, but generally keep them to myself
